About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. The Role: We’re looking for business operations managers to join the team. This person will work closely with folks across marketing, sales, operations, and finance across a variety of initiatives to help scale the business in our next phase of growth. You'll be a generalist who gets in the weeds on all the business and operational aspects of a high-growth startup. In this role, you will: Drive in-depth quantitative analyses to inform our pricing and packaging strategy. Help spin up our deal desk and streamline enterprise deals. Support the exec team on various finance functions, from investor relations to large cloud vendor negotiations to identifying cost optimization opportunities. Implement new tools and processes to enable the GTM org to grow rapidly. Get creative on a spectrum of ad-hoc projects like securing new office space in Manhattan. Requirements: We are looking

We’re looking for an experienced Associate to join our growing GTM Strategy & Operations team. Our team solves complex problems that require insight, creativity, and execution through building scalable processes, tools, and systems for our rapidly growing global business. You will own the day-to-day management and strategy of the sales productivity tool ecosystem that powers our Sales and Customer Success organizations - including contact intelligence, outbound sequencing, and data enrichment platforms. Doing this successfully requires a deep understanding of the “day in the life” for field teams, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to translate business needs into tooling solutions that help Datadog grow 10x. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. You Will Own the tool portfolio: Manage the strategy, lifecycle, and day-to-day administration of Datadog’s sales productivity tools, including contact intelligence, outbound sequencing, and data enrichment platforms Lead AI tooling strategy: Identify, evaluate, and pilot AI-powered tools and features that enhance sales productivity - from AI-assisted prospecting and enrichment to intelligent sequencing and personalization - and help define Datadog’s forward-looking AI tooling roadmap for the Sales and CS organizations Drive vendor performance: Manage vendor relationships, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Procurement - including benchmarking tools against alternatives and driving competitive pricing Measure impact: Define and track success metrics across all managed tools (e.g., adoption rates, data quality, pipeline influenced) and use findings to make data-driven consolidation, expansion, or replacement decisions Partner with the field: Wo
As a Staff Product Manager on Datadog's Observability Data Platform (ODP) , you will lead product management for a portfolio of foundational platform bets — work that changes the cost structure and capability of the platform itself, not the cost of any single feature. Among ODP’s portfolio of engineering work are efforts to bring the platform's unit cost down meaningfully each quarter, plus a slate of architectural bets aimed at order-of-magnitude cost reduction over the longer horizon. The work you'll lead reshapes how Datadog ingests, routes, and exposes telemetry value to customers — and is foundational to how every product team in Datadog's ecosystem will think about telemetry economics going forward. This role reports to the Group Product Manager of ODP. What You'll Do: Set product direction across foundational platform bets by defining problems and desired outcomes, partnering with engineering to determine slices of work that drive value in phases for users and the business. Collaborate on the long-term cost-and-value architecture of the platform — how value-aware telemetry, innovative data engines, and customer-facing cost stories fit together over multiple quarters. Develop and defend sizing and impact estimates for large, diffuse programs — credibly produce the analysis that engineering leadership and pricing partners need to make resourcing and prioritization calls. Anticipate and communicate market trends in telemetry economics and agentic observability and how they shape platform investment. Develop deep understanding of cost-to-serve by partnering with engineering on the unit economics of the data platform and bring that cost-profile understanding into collaborative discussions with product verticals about customer-facing trade-offs. Surface the customer-positive angles in cost work that engineering-led optimization tickets don't currently make visible. Deliver concise written and verbal communication to executive, engineering, and customer audien

Datadog SQL (DDSQL) and Sheets are two of the newest products within Graphing, Datadog’s most-used product area. Together, they give customers flexible ways to query, combine, analyze, visualize, and share data across Datadog. This role owns the product direction and user experience for both products. Your goal is to help users move from raw data to trustworthy answers quickly—whether they prefer writing SQL, working in a spreadsheet, or building visual analyses. Doing this well requires more than adding analytical features. Real-world analysis involves nuanced decisions about data models, joins, aggregations, time windows, missing data, query performance, and the transition from exploration to reusable work. You’ll work closely with design and engineering to make these capabilities understandable without limiting their analytical power. You’ll also help expand the data customers can analyze in Datadog, including third-party and business data alongside operational telemetry. This will make DDSQL and Sheets central analytical tools for a broader range of questions and users. What you'll do: Own DDSQL and Sheets end to end: roadmap, adoption, and growth strategy Partner closely with design to establish a high bar for information architecture, interaction design, and visual polish across complex analytical workflows Use product analytics and customer research to identify friction, improve onboarding, and measure whether users are reaching useful answers faster Define the experience for querying, transforming, visualizing, and sharing data, from query composition and results exploration to errors, performance feedback, and collaboration Define and execute the strategy for bringing third-party data into Datadog: from market research and use-case definition through pricing Expand Datadog SQL from a standalone editor into a platform-wide query capability on all graphs Redesign how users discover and get started with Graphing products: rethink list pages, build onboa
The Internal Product Analytics (IPA) team is the analytics backbone of Datadog's Product organization. With over thirty products on a single platform, IPA gives PMs and leadership the data, tooling, platform, and analysis they need to make good decisions. The team owns the recurring analytical work the Product org runs on and builds the AI-first workflows that make that analysis faster and more consistent across the org. As Manager of the Internal Product Analytics team, you will directly manage a team of data analysts, partner closely with the PMs your team serves, and partner with the associated platform engineering teams. You will set the direction for how the team delivers analysis, builds AI-first tooling, and partners across functions. This is a role for someone who works well across teams, turning complex data and open questions into clear, trusted answers that PMs and leadership can act on. What You'll Do: Guide and grow the Internal Product Analytics team. Manage, coach, and develop a team of data analysts. Set priorities, hold a high bar for quality, and make sure the team's output is trusted across the Product org. Partner directly with the PM org. Work side by side with the PMs your team serves to frame the questions that matter, shape the analysis, and make sure the answers reach them in a form they can act on. Own the recurring analytics the PM org runs on. Business reviews, feature request analysis, usage and adoption tracking, and pricing analysis. Make this work consistent, repeatable, and fast so PMs get answers when they need them. Build AI-first analytics. Design and ship AI-powered workflows and agents that do the heavy lifting of analysis, from data querying to synthesis to reporting. Set the standard for how the team uses AI so analysis scales without simply adding headcount. Partner across functions. Work with Finance, Data Platform, Engineering, and Revenue teams to align on definitions, source the right data, and turn raw signals into decis

Today, everyone from PMs to Sales to SREs uses AI to query their business data - but every answer is a one-off with no governance, no consistency, and no visibility for data teams. We're building the system that fixes this: a context layer that learns from existing data tools driving high quality and consistent answers, an AI-powered query experience, full governance for data teams, and rich analysis surfaces to present and share the results. You'd be building a zero to one product of what we believe will become a major new product line for Datadog. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What you'll do Drive the product vision and roadmap spanning the Data agent experience, the semantic/context layer, governance console, chat experience and analysis surfaces (dashboards, notebooks, sheets) Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch, working with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and other PMs Deeply understand the needs of two key personas: data teams (who govern and curate) and data consumers (PMs, engineers, SREs, executives who ask questions) Design the context and governance layer that makes AI-powered analytics trustworthy - including auto-generation from existing BI tools, eval frameworks, confidence scoring, and self-improvement loops Define how observability data and business data come together to serve unique use cases Engage directly with early customers and internal dogfooding users to iterate on accuracy, usability, and trust Independently research the competitive landscape across legacy BI vendors, warehouse-native analytics, AI-first startups, and AI labs Work on the product pricing Work with GTM teams to define positioning, packaging, and the path to displacing entrenched tools Who you are 5+ years of experience
