About the Role In this role, you’ll lead and evolve the design system foundations for ChatGPT. You’ll make nuanced design judgment explicit and usable across product teams, establishing the principles, patterns, and standards that enable coherent, high-quality experiences at scale. A paramount part of this role is raising OpenAI’s craft bar. This work extends beyond maintaining a component library: you’ll define what excellent product design looks and feels like, establish clear guidance for choosing and applying interface patterns, and ensure that new ChatGPT experiences strengthen a coherent system across platforms. Working closely with research, engineering, product, and design, you’ll create a continuous learning loop between design principles, product experiences, evaluation, and evolving technology—shaping a system that becomes more capable and expressive as ChatGPT grows. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role you will: Define an exceptionally high standard for craft and taste, translating that standard into principles, guidance, and examples that elevate the quality of ChatGPT. Own and evolve ChatGPT’s design foundations, including typography, sizing, spacing, layout, motion, accessibility, and responsive behavior. Establish a shared source of truth across platforms and improve the systems connecting tokens, components, patterns, widgets, learning experiences, and app-like product experiences. Build a comprehensive design systems framework with clear, opinionated guidance about when and how product teams should use different interface patterns. Translate design judgment into durable standards and use prototyping and evaluation workflows to test experiences, identify recurring issues, and improve the system. Identify promising patterns across emerging product experiences and turn them into reusable, documented foundations. Partner with research, engineering, product, and design to evolve the d

About the Team The Consumer Product Marketing team helps people understand how ChatGPT can fit into their lives. We connect customer insight with product strategy and development, working across disciplines to bring meaningful products to people around the world. Our consumer subscriptions work focuses on showing people what they get with a paid ChatGPT plan and helping them decide when upgrading makes sense. About the Role As the Product Marketing Lead, Consumer Subscriptions, you will lead the product marketing strategy for ChatGPT's consumer subscription portfolio, including Go, Plus, and Pro. You will shape how customers discover and adopt paid plans while bringing a clear customer perspective to product and business decisions about how those plans are designed and tiered. You will partner closely with Product, Pricing, and Growth to define each plan's audience, positioning, value proposition, and priority use cases, and bring evidence-backed recommendations to pricing and packaging discussions. You will be accountable for driving paid-plan adoption and will lead work across product launches, plan education, premium positioning, and the customer story on pricing and plan pages across ChatGPT.com and OpenAI.com . This role calls for an individual contributor who can turn customer, market, competitive, and behavioral insights into clear subscription strategies and customer stories. About the Team We're building the foundation for a new kind of AI coworker: persistent agents that have their own environments, can meet people wherever they work, and continue making progress for as long as a task requires. Our goal is to help individuals, teams, and organizations delegate meaningful work to AI—not just ask questions or complete a single turn. Our work brings together product, agent, and infrastructure capabilities across OpenAI. Together, we are creating always-on virtual coworkers that can carry context across tasks, operate through the right tools and channels, and deliver reliable results in real workplace environments. About the Role We’re looking for a full stack product engineer to shape how people discover, direct, and collaborate with AI coworkers. You’ll own product experiences end to end, spending roughly equal time building intuitive frontend surfaces and the backend systems that make agentic workflows persistent, reliable, and useful. You’ll work at the intersection of product engineering, design, agent capabilities, and enterprise readiness—turning rapidly evolving model and platform capabilities into experiences customers can understand, trust, and use every day. In this role, you will: Design, build, and ship full stack product experiences that help people and teams delegate meaningful work to persistent AI coworkers. Create intuitive frontend interfaces for directing agents, reviewing their progress, understanding their actions, and collaborating on the work they produce. Build backend APIs, services, and data models that support persistent agent state, asynchronous execution, orchestration, and progress reporting. Develop workflows that help agents access relevant context, use tools, and collaborate with people across workplace surfaces and channels. Partner with product, design, research, and engineering teams to turn shared capabilities into cohesive products. Build trust into the product through clear user controls, understanda
About the Team The legal industry team works with law firms, in-house legal departments, legal technology companies, and other members of the legal ecosystem to understand how AI can support serious professional work. The team collaborates across Product, Research, Engineering, Design, Go-to-Market, Partnerships, Safety, Security, and Legal. We believe the strongest progress in legal will be built with the ecosystem. Our goal is to help customers and partners use OpenAI's capabilities in ways that are useful, trustworthy, and complementary to the products, expertise, and relationships that already serve the field. About the Role As a Product Manager you will help lead OpenAI's work with the legal industry. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who can turn incomplete information into clear priorities and shipped work. We’re looking for people who will spend time with customers and partners, work closely with researchers, engineers, designers, and operators, and keep complex work moving across teams. You will have meaningful ownership, but your success will depend as much on collaboration, follow-through, and judgment as on strategy. Success will depend on detailed, behind-the-scenes work in a fast-moving environment that can sometimes be chaotic. The right person will work very hard, get their hands dirty, and stay calm when the path is unclear. The work is also important and substantive: you will help shape how powerful technology is used in a consequential profession. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Turn customer, partner, market, and model evidence into a clear product strategy and roadmap for OpenAI’s work with the legal industry—including what to build, what not to build, and where ecosystem partners should lead. Define requirements and take products from early concept through real-world use and iteration.
About the Team OpenAI’s Cyber team works to make frontier AI safe, trusted, and transformative for developers and enterprises. About the Team OpenAI’s Cyber team works to make frontier AI a decisive advantage for defenders. The Cyber Blue Team is an operator-led group focused on turning real defensive problems into better models, useful products, safe Codex workflows, and integrations with the security tools defenders already use. Our ambition is simple: Raise attacker cost. Lower defender toil. Prove it by defending OpenAI; scale it through the ecosystem. We are not setting out to build another SIEM or autonomous SOC. We want to build the AI reasoning and workflow layer that helps security teams investigate threats, create and validate detections, improve their controls, and respond with greater speed and confidence. About the Role We are looking for a Product Manager to help build a new generation of AI-powered cyber defense products. You will work closely with security practitioners, researchers, engineers, designers, internal security teams, customers, and technology partners to turn emerging model capabilities into products that solve meaningful defensive problems. This is an early-stage product role. The work will span product discovery, prototyping, evaluation, development, launch, and iteration. You will help the team identify where AI can create the most value for defenders and translate those opportunities into clear, usable, and trustworthy product experiences. Initial areas of focus may include: Detection engineering and detection-content development Threat hunting and investigation Security validation and control testing AI-agent and MCP runtime defense Integrations with security platforms and enterprise workflows Safe, governed assistance for incident response The specific roadmap will continue to evolve based on model progress, practitioner needs, internal learnings, and customer feedback.
