Position Summary: The Sr. Materials Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal material availability for Illumina's instrument and spare parts portfolio by balancing supply, demand, inventory, and lead-times to support manufacturing, service, and customer needs. Responsibilities: Develop and execute material plans to support instrument manufacturing, service, repair, and refurbishment operations. Monitor material availability and proactively communicate shortages or surplus to prevent supply disruptions in the network. Manage inventory levels to balance customer service, operational readiness, and inventory investment. Review and recommend updates to planning parameters, lead times, and master data. Analyze demand and supply changes, communicate risks and mitigation plans. Partner with Procurement to resolve delivery issues and improve material availability.
