About the Team Our New Verticals team launched in 2020 with the purpose of delighting our customers and empowering local communities outside of just restaurants. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. New Verticals is the growth engine of DoorDash’s business and we are continuing to build and scale new businesses everyday! Grocery is one of our highest priority, most complex verticals that is key to acquiring consumers to new verticals outside of just restaurants. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Associate on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to work scaling the service offerings we can provide to consumers through our third party merchant partnerships with some of the most well known grocers and your local favorite grocers on our platform! In this role, you will lead growth projects for major Grocery merchants to ensure we are able to onboard every SKU or service a grocery store offers. This includes portfolio management, ideating and launching 0-1 initiatives across our merchants, onboarding merchants to new services and improving quality every step of the way. You will partner closely with product, engineering, finance, analytics and business development to bring these initiatives to life! These roles sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and product. The best operators today are rapidly generating new ideas, taking ownership over metrics and moving them in the right direction through building product visions, synthesizing complex analyses and testing every idea — all while leveraging AI to uplevel how we operate. About the Team Our Advertising & Promotions Marketing team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. We provide digital solutions to help advertisers reach DoorDash audiences. The growing DoorDash ads business will quickly become the single best place for merchants and brands to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties. About the Role Our advertising business is one of the fastest-growing parts of DoorDash. This role exists to ensure our sellers are equipped with the right materials for key conversations with enterprise advertisers. You will own the sales content portfolio for our ads business and design the system that produces it. You will co-create our annual sales narrative with our platform and product marketing partners, and own translating it into the practical materials the field actually uses to win. That covers the content sellers use in front of advertisers: pitch decks, one-pagers, customer proof, and playbooks, along with the research that informs it and the governance that keeps it up to date. You will also develop content for our external advertiser training materials. You will manage a team of four marketers covering Restaurant, CPG, and agency audiences across the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, supporting a field of hundreds of sellers.
