As a Staff Application Security Engineer at Datadog, you'll set technical direction for how we approach application security at scale. You'll define the frameworks, methodologies, and architectural patterns that engineering teams across Datadog adopt and apply independently. You're the person others come to when they don't know how to make something secure, and you reliably have an answer. You'll be a point of contact for our most complex security programs, often spanning multiple teams and multiple quarters. The role requires both depth (going very deep on specific problems when needed) and breadth (recognizing patterns across systems and drawing connections that others miss). Partnering closely with teams inside and outside the security org is key to success. You'll help shape the AppSec roadmap and make the case for where investment should go. We use our own platform. Logs, Dashboards, Service Catalog, and APM aren't just things we sell: they're tools the AppSec team uses to build security services, measure adoption of secure defaults, and communicate risk across the organization. AI is also part of the picture. Engineering at Datadog increasingly uses agentic tooling throughout the development lifecycle, and many of the products we ship to customers now include AI-powered features. Both create new attack surfaces, and defining our strategy for addressing them is part of this role. If using Datadog to observe Datadog's own security posture, building impactful tooling, and shaping how we secure AI-powered systems sounds like the right kind of problem, this role is worth a close look. What You’ll Do: Define and drive security standards and secure-by-default solutions, serving as the Application Security subject matter expert. Build security tooling and automation that scales security practices across engineering teams, and implement robust security observability to support our threat detection team with meaningful, actionable security signals. Lead threat mod

About the team The Capital Markets team develops the financing strategy, solutions, and partnerships needed to support our expanding global AI infrastructure platform and long-term investment plans. About the role We’re looking for a structured finance professional to serve as a technical execution engine for a lean, high-impact capital markets team. In this role, you’ll own the models, analysis, diligence, process management, and key execution workstreams behind standardized or more “vanilla” financings, while partnering with senior transactors on more complex transactions. This is not a junior analyst role. You’ll need the experience and maturity to work directly with senior leaders, banks, investors, counsel, and advisors without multiple layers of review. You should be highly capable in the details, strong under transaction intensity, and ready to help build financing processes for a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure platform. What you’ll do Translate financing objectives into clear analyses, recommendations, timelines, and deliverables. Support senior transactors on complex financings, including structuring, documentation, diligence, negotiation, and closing. Lead analysis, diligence, process tracking, and execution workstreams for financing transactions. Own transaction models, including debt sizing, cash-flow waterfalls, sensitivities, covenant analysis, and scenario evaluation. Work directly with internal stakeholders, banks, investors, counsel, advisors, and other counterparties. Review transaction documentation and help ensure commercial, financial, and diligence details are reflected accurately. Manage high-volume, detail-intensive workstreams in a lean team environment. Help develop repeatable tools, processes, and analytical infrastructure as the capital markets function scales. You might thrive in this role if you have At least 4-6 years of directly relevant experience in project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance, private equity, or a

Building on efforts like Jalapeño, the team is developing future generations of AI-native silicon and tightly integrated systems to power the next generation of frontier models. By co-designing chips, systems, tools, and methodologies, the team helps deliver faster, more efficient, and production-ready hardware for OpenAI’s supercomputing platform. About the Role As a software engineer on the Scaling team, you’ll help build and optimize the low-level stack that orchestrates computation and data movement across OpenAI’s supercomputing clusters. Your work will involve designing high-performance runtimes, building custom kernels, contributing to compiler infrastructure, and developing scalable simulation systems to validate and optimize distributed training workloads. You will work at the intersection of systems programming, ML infrastructure, and high-performance computing, helping to create both ergonomic developer APIs and highly efficient runtime systems. This means balancing ease of use and introspection with the need for stability and performance on our evolving hardware fleet. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid work model (3 days/week in-office). Relocation assistance is available. In this role, you will: Design and build APIs and runtime components to orchestrate computation and data movement across heterogeneous ML workloads. Contribute to compiler infrastructure, including the development of optimizations and compiler passes to support evolving hardware. Engineer and optimize compute and data kernels, ensuring correctness, high performance, and portability across simulation and production environments. Profile and optimize system bottlenecks, especially around I/O, memory hierarchy, and interconnects, at both local and distributed scales. Develop simulation infrastructure to validate runtime b

About Dynamic Tables Dynamic Tables (DTs) are Snowflake's declarative streaming transformation primitive. Customers define a SQL query and a freshness target; Snowflake handles the rest: orchestrating refreshes, maintaining snapshot consistency across a DAG of dependencies, and automatically incrementalizing the computation so that cost scales with what changed. Dynamic Tables is one of the fastest growing products at Snowflake and is a core part of Snowflake’s Data Engineering strategy. The Dynamic Tables performance team is responsible for making incremental refresh fast, predictable, and cost-efficient across increasingly complex query shapes. As a Staff Engineer on this team, you will own the technical direction for critical performance initiatives and be a force multiplier for the engineers around you. What You'll Do Lead the design and implementation of performance improvements to the incremental view maintenance engine, including multi-join incrementalization, novel incrementalization semantics, incremental window functions, and stacked operations.
