Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. Remote (US East Coast preferred, for timezone coverage) About the team Cloud Infrastructure owns the platform every Synthesia product runs on — AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Temporal, our observability stack, and the vendor and cost relationships underneath them. We're a small, high-leverage team scaling toward a domain-ownership model: small groups that both build and operate the systems they're accountable for. The role We're hiring a dedicated SRE to take real ownership of operational excellence across Cloud Infrastructure. Today, too much critical operational knowledge — vendor relationships, cost management, and incident response — lives with one or two people. Your mission is to take genuine ownership of those domains, make them resilient to any single person, and raise the bar on how reliably we run. This is not simply a ticket-queue or keep-the-lights-on role. You'll own domains end to end: understand them deeply, operate them well, and build the automation and tooling that make them boring . We deliberately pair operational and engineering work so the role grows rather than narrows. What you'll own Incident management & operational excellence — take custody of the incident process: on-call quality, resp
At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Platform org - the group that powers product development across Vanta by building the shared foundations that every engineering team builds on top of. This hire will join one of two closely-aligned teams within the org, each working on foundational challenges with company-wide impact. Application Primitives is responsible for the shared, customer-facing platform components that product teams implement across the product: examples include comments, notifications platform, event log infrastructure, and agentic audit trails. This team sits at the intersection of platform and product - not pure infrastructure, not pure product - building the reusable building blocks that let other teams ship faster and more consistently. Libraries & Foundations is a brand-new team that owns Vanta's internal engineering libraries and golden-path patterns. Sitting between core platform and product platform in the stack, this team builds the TypeScript-first abstractions and shared foundations that all Vanta engineers build on top of - including event-driven architecture libraries, code quality tooling, and test frameworks. You'll be evaluated for both teams based on your background and interests, and the decision on team placement will reflect where your skills and passions are the strongest fit. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the role Sentry provides tools that help developers find and fix issues in their applications. The Developer Infrastructure team owns the systems that make every engineer at Sentry more effective at shipping high quality software: developer environments, CI/CD for our open source and closed source codebases, the golden path for building new services, our SDK and library publishing tooling, and the metrics and dashboards that keep it all healthy. Our goal is straightforward: developers should spend their time thinking about the software they build for customers, not the software they use to build it. That means everything from local and cloud development environments, to the CI/CD pipeline that gets code out safely and quickly, to the tooling that catches flaky tests before they cost someone a day. As AI coding agents become part of how engineers work, we're also investing in making sure our environments, CI, and deployment systems support that shift. As a Software Engineer on Dev Infra, you'll help build and scale this infrastructure end to end. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: Invent build, test and packaging tools that are simpler and more reliable to use. Push performance and cost efficiency at scale, raising cache hit rates and cutting CI times and compute spend across millions of targets. Treat CI like SREs treat prod, making sure our pipelines are green and fast. Prepare, run, and finish complex migrations. Contribute back to the Bazel ecosystem, upstreaming fixes and shaping features we depend on. Who You Are: An expert in Bazel and/or one of the languages listed above. A well-rounded engineer.
