About Sentry Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the Role This isn’t a typical engineering role. You won’t be embedded in a single product team or siloed in one product area. Instead, you’ll sit within Platform Engineering, own the AI-assisted coding domain, and work across all of engineering at Sentry, focused specifically on how AI coding agents participate in our software development lifecycle. For AI coding agents to work well in our repo, the internal systems they depend on need to be accessible via API, not locked behind UIs that require human interaction. Right now, many of those systems aren’t agent-ready. You’ll audit and prioritize that gap, expose those systems programmatically, and build the connections that let tools like Claude Code operate on them end-to-end. From there, the scope expands to improving the quality of AI-generated pull requests and automating the engineering work that’s important but consistently deprioritized. You will look from context engineering standpoint to see what to send to our model; you will look from harness engineering standpoint to see the tools it can use, the permissions it has, the state it carries forward, the tests it has to pass, the logs you capture, the retries, checkpoints, guardrails, and evals. You’ll work closely with the dev infrastructure team as your home base, then collaborate across every product team coding in our repo once the tooling foundation is in place. It’s a broad role with real impact, and the work you do will directly change how Sentry engineers ship software. What You’ll Do Audit Sentry’s internal developer systems and make them API-ready for AI agents. You’ll prioritize and drive the work of ex

What you’ll do Partner with medical image reconstruction scientists / engineers to build ML components that improve reconstruction quality, speed, robustness, or quantitative accuracy. Define training/evaluation pipelines, datasets, and metrics that map to user needs and design requirements. Productionize models: inference performance, reproducibility, monitoring for drift/regressions, and safe fallbacks. Collaborate on hybrid algorithms, incorporating physics and learned priors, denoisers, learned regularizers, and quality estimation. Help build tooling for rapid experimentation as well as rigorous verification of algorithm changes. What we’re looking for Strong applied ML experience plus comfort with signal processing / imaging or adjacent domains. Ability to move fluidly between research prototypes and production-quality systems. Strong evaluation discipline: metrics, ablations, data leakage avoidance, and reproducibility. A demonstrated track record of applying ML to physics-based or inverse problems (i.e., shipped projects, a portfolio, or publications.) Useful experience ML for imaging/inverse problems (or adjacent) with strong evaluation discipline and comfort with GPU performance constraints. Pragmatic production mindset: reproducible training/inference, regression testing, and safe deployment in high-stakes contexts. A background in computational physics or scientific computing. Leverage ML-based methods such as PiNNs and Neural Operators to solve partial differential equations arising in ultrasound simulation and imaging. Experience in Agentic-SciML is a plus. Hands-on experience with data curation for ML: building datasets from messy, real-world sources, defining ground truth, and managing labeling or simulation pipelines. What you’ll do Design and implement secure cloud pipelines that ingest very large scan datasets (multi-terabyte), reliably and resumably. Build orchestration for GPU-accelerated reconstruction and analysis with strong retry semantics, idempotency, and cost controls. Define end-to-end data lifecycle for medical imaging: raw vs intermediate vs derived artifacts, retention policies, and reproducibility. Implement security + compliance primitives appropriate for HIPAA/PHI: encryption in transit/at rest, key management, least privilege, audit logs, and access reviews. Build operational tooling: monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and incident-driven improvements for a growing device fleet. What we’re looking for Strong experience with cloud batch/queueing/orchestration, storage systems, and data pipeline reliability. Experience shipping production systems that handle large data volumes and failure-prone networks. Practical security mindset (least privilege, secrets, audit logging) and comfort operating in compliance-constrained environments. Useful experience Building reliable data pipelines at scale (queues/orchestration, resumable uploads, GPU batch execution) with strong observability. Security + privacy by default: encryption, least-privilege access, auditing, and practical HIPAA/PHI guardrails. Owning the “boring” backend details that keep a lean team moving: schemas/migrations, cost controls, retries, and runbooks. Understanding compute tradeoffs across hardware options, and specifying appropriate cloud resources.

About Mixpanel Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform, trusted by more than 29,000 companies to help understand how people use the products they build. By combining powerful analytics with AI that knows your business, Mixpanel helps teams see what’s working, diagnose what’s not, and decide what to build next. Learn more at mixpanel.com . About the Team Internal Analysis is the data team at Mixpanel — the team that turns data from every corner of the business into the decisions that shape our product and our growth. They own the full path: from raw data in source systems, through a governed warehouse, to the models, metrics, and insights leaders across the company act on. It's two complementary disciplines under one roof. Our Analytics Engineers own the data end to end — ingesting from source systems, modeling through a medallion architecture on BigQuery, and producing the trusted tables and reporting artifacts the rest of the company runs on. Our Data Scientists build on that foundation, partnering with Product to refine the user experience and with GTM to sharpen how we grow — inspecting signals, running experiments, and surfacing the insights that change what we do next. About the Role You'll lead this team — and help shape Mixpanel's data culture. We're looking for someone who can influence the organization to become more metrics-driven: establishing clear KPIs, helping teams define success upfront, and ensuring analytics and data science are engaged as strategic partners from the start of an initiative, not brought in at the end to validate decisions already made. As we grow the data organization's remit across the company, this role has the scope to establish practices that don't yet exist, KPI ownership, cross-functional operating rhythms, a shared standard for what 'data-driven' means here, and where AI belongs in both how the team works and what the platform delivers. It takes building real trust with cross-functional leaders to
