The Product Solutions Architecture (PSA) team acts as a technical multiplier across Datadog. PSAs are domain experts who partner with Field teams on complex customer use cases across pre- and post-sales engagements and scale their impact by producing reusable collateral, including reference architectures, technical guides, and enablement assets. By feeding real-world customer insights back to Datadog Product teams, PSAs help influence product roadmaps while accelerating adoption, usage, and long-term customer success. Datadog's Service Management suite — spanning App Builder, Incident Management, Event Management, Workflow Automation, and On-Call — helps enterprises detect, triage, and resolve operational issues faster while automating the manual toil around incident response. As a Product Solutions Architect, you will partner closely with Datadog customers and the Service Management product team to design architectures, implement best practices, and drive adoption of App Builder, Incident Management, Event Management, Workflow Automation, and On-Call across customer environments. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You'll Do: Serve as the in-house subject matter expert for Datadog's Service Management products — App Builder, Incident Management, Event Management, Workflow Automation, and On-Call Partner with Field teams to provide hands-on technical and architectural guidance to enterprise customers adopting Service Management, including designing on-call escalation policies, incident response workflows, event correlation pipelines, and custom internal tools with App Builder Create high-impact technical collateral, including reference architectures, technical guides, cookbooks, and documentation to enable Field teams and the broader customer community

As a Staff Application Security Engineer at Datadog, you'll set technical direction for how we approach application security at scale. You'll define the frameworks, methodologies, and architectural patterns that engineering teams across Datadog adopt and apply independently. You're the person others come to when they don't know how to make something secure, and you reliably have an answer. You'll be a point of contact for our most complex security programs, often spanning multiple teams and multiple quarters. The role requires both depth (going very deep on specific problems when needed) and breadth (recognizing patterns across systems and drawing connections that others miss). Partnering closely with teams inside and outside the security org is key to success. You'll help shape the AppSec roadmap and make the case for where investment should go. We use our own platform. Logs, Dashboards, Service Catalog, and APM aren't just things we sell: they're tools the AppSec team uses to build security services, measure adoption of secure defaults, and communicate risk across the organization. AI is also part of the picture. Engineering at Datadog increasingly uses agentic tooling throughout the development lifecycle, and many of the products we ship to customers now include AI-powered features. Both create new attack surfaces, and defining our strategy for addressing them is part of this role. If using Datadog to observe Datadog's own security posture, building impactful tooling, and shaping how we secure AI-powered systems sounds like the right kind of problem, this role is worth a close look. What You’ll Do: Define and drive security standards and secure-by-default solutions, serving as the Application Security subject matter expert. Build security tooling and automation that scales security practices across engineering teams, and implement robust security observability to support our threat detection team with meaningful, actionable security signals. Our mature RPA practice on Automation Anywhere is now growing to include agentic AI. These systems interpret unstructured inputs, invoke tools, and perform complex workflows with human oversight where needed. We are looking for a Principal Automation Specialist to act as the senior technical expert in this initiative. This hands-on leadership role involves setting the architectural vision for our intelligent automation platform, building the most complex elements, and raising the team’s technical standards. Responsibilities As a Principal Automation Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Architect and build agentic automation: LLM-orchestrated workflows that combine deterministic RPA with reasoning based on data patterns, tool/API calling, and structured output. Extend our Automation Anywhere estate — migrate brittle, screen-scraped bots to API- and agent-based patterns and decide deliberately when a task should stay deterministic. Build the reliability layer that makes agents safe to run in production: evaluation harnesses, regression suites, confidence thresholds, human-in-the-loop approval gates, fallback paths, and audit logging. Own the integration surface — connect agents to ERP (SAP), data platforms, ticketing, and internal APIs via standardized tool interfaces (e.g., MCP servers, REST/GraphQL, event-driven triggers).
