Lithic's Treasury Operations team owns the movement of money across our card issuing infrastructure — network settlement, sponsor bank transfers, and the reconciliation that keeps it all provable. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to learn the inner workings of payments and fintech infrastructure, not just observe them from a reporting layer. You'll be running a critical, time-sensitive engine every day — and at the same time, working alongside the Head of Treasury Operations to improve how that engine works as the function scales. We manage Stripe's FX and cash positions across the globe, owning two of the most commercially critical problems in our business: delivering the best possible FX trades for our users, and optimizing the cost and routing of cross-border payouts across countries. Stripe recently launched its own in-house bank, enabling near-instant movement of funds across accounts worldwide—and Cash Platform is at the center of bringing that infrastructure to Stripe's products and, increasingly, to our customers. "Good" isn't one number — it spans answer quality, tool-selection accuracy (critical given the growing catalog of data sources and visualizations), retrieval relevance, latency, token cost, and end-to-end agent success. The space is full of open questions. How do you evaluate an agent end-to-end when the trajectory is non-deterministic? How do you score tool selection when a user’s query can result in the agent making decisions against dozens of visualizations and data sources – both of which are growing month over month? How do you build a measurement system that catches regressions across all widget types and data sources (e.g., enforcing correct grouping, sorting, and time overrides), and is easy to use and extend by dozens of teams?
