People Director in Canada

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. The divide between business needs and technical delivery is one of the most persistent challenges in enterprise technology, where People teams struggle to articulate requirements and engineering teams lack the business context to build truly impactful solutions. As a Senior Business Solution Architect for People at Lyft, you'll eliminate this gap by serving as the critical connection point between our People teams and our Corporate Engineering and IT (CEIT) organization. This customer obsessed role uniquely combines deep functional business expertise with strong technical acumen, with an AI native approach, enabling you to translate complex business needs into systemized, scalable solutions while driving AI-enabled transformation across the People function. We're seeking a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, possesses exceptional communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences, and is dedicated to architecting the future AI Native state of how the People function operates. You'll be the trusted advisor to both business leaders and engineering teams, ensuring our People organization has systems and processes that scale with our business while our engineering teams build solutions that truly move the needle. With AI fundamentally reshaping how the People function gets work done, your expertise will be critical in helping us responsibly harness these technologies to drive operational excellence. In this role, you'll reimagine People workflows through an AI-first lens, design business processes that balance operational excellence with technical feasibility, and champion automation that elevates teams from tactical execution to strategic impact. If you are a candidate who has the vision of what could be, who has the ability to cultivat

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. The People Analytics team at Lyft exists to build data trust — turning people data into clear, reliable insights that help our HR Business Partners, talent leaders, and executives make better decisions. We're a small, high-impact team in the middle of a meaningful BI transformation: we recently moved to ThoughtSpot as our primary analytics platform, and we're not just replicating old dashboards — we're rethinking what self-service analytics looks like for a People team. That includes exploring ThoughtSpot's AI capabilities to surface proactive insights, enable natural language querying, and reduce the friction between a business question and a data answer. There's real greenfield work here, and we're looking for someone who wants to help define what AI-powered people analytics looks like at Lyft. We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our People Analytics team, based in Toronto. You'll report to the Senior Manager, People Analytics and serve as the first point of contact for incoming data requests across the People organization — triaging, scoping, and delivering on analytical needs ranging from quick ad-hoc pulls to fully built ThoughtSpot dashboards. This role is well-timed: you'll be joining as we complete our migration from Tableau to ThoughtSpot, which means you'll have genuine influence over how we build our reporting layer and push into ThoughtSpot's AI features — think natural language search, AI-generated insights, and proactive anomaly detection applied to people data. This isn't a "maintain the dashboard" role. It's a chance to help build something new. You'll be a self-starter who is equally comfortable writing SQL and presenting findings to a VP. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for incoming data requests from across the People organization — scoping needs, setting

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. Flexdrive, Lyft's wholly-owned fleet management subsidiary, is undergoing a transformational shift from traditional rideshare fleet operations to autonomous vehicle fleet ownership and operations. We are seeking an AV Program Manager to help drive the cross-functional operating plan that will prepare Flexdrive to receive, staff, and operate AV fleets at scale domestically and abroad. This role supports the operational backbone of Flexdrive's AV readiness initiative. You will maintain the program timeline, coordinate cross-functional workstreams spanning infrastructure, people, fleet operations, treasury, legal, and finance, and help ensure that requirements are tracked, dependencies are surfaced, and deployment milestones are met. You will work closely with workstream leads across Operations, Strategy, Infrastructure, Finance, Legal, Analytics, and People. If you thrive in ambiguity, can bring structure to complex multi-workstream programs, and have a bias toward action, this role is for you. Responsibilities: 1. Program Planning & Execution Maintain the program timeline for Flexdrive AV Operating Readiness, tracking deliverables and dependencies across workstreams: Strategic Planning, Infrastructure, Analytics, People, Fleet Operations, Treasury, Finance, and Legal. Maintain the program's RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), surfacing cross-functional blockers with clear context for escalation. Support weekly leadership syncs and monthly deep-dive reviews, including preparation, presentation and follow-through. Translate upstream decisions (partner agreements, market selections, ) into operational requirements, updating the readiness roadmap accordingly. 2. Cross-Functional Coordination Serve as a connection point between workstream leads, helping ensure infrastructure time
