At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. Data Science is at the heart of Lyft’s products and decision-making. Data Scientists at Lyft operate in dynamic environments, moving quickly to build the world’s best transportation solutions. We tackle a wide range of challenges - from shaping long-term business strategy with data, to making critical short-term decisions, to developing algorithms and models that power both internal systems and customer-facing products. Driver Incentives Science owns the algorithms and systems behind incentive design, influencing driver engagement and marketplace efficiency — from real-time supply positioning to longer-horizon earnings and engagement programs. The team is responsible for designing pay and incentive mechanisms that are efficient and good for driver experience over the long run. As a Data Scientist specializing in Algorithms, you'll partner closely with product, engineering, and operations leaders to build and scale incentive systems, shape long-term mechanism design strategy, and deliver on critical business goals tied to marketplace efficiency and driver earnings. Candidates with strong optimization backgrounds — think mathematical programming, control theory, or operations research — are a great fit, though we welcome strong candidates from machine learning or causal inference as well. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset to drive results. Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, implement, and iterate on new features and algorithmic improvements for driver incentives and pay mechanisms. Design, develop, and deploy optimization models, algorithms, and systems for problems such as budget allocation, multidimensional cost-curve development, and incentive targeting. Write production model code; collabor

Scale has been the leading AI data foundry, helping fuel the most exciting advancements in AI, including frontier model training, enterprise adoption, defense applications, and autonomous vehicles. Our mission is to develop reliable AI systems for the world's most important decisions. The next frontier for AI is the physical world. We're looking for an AI Product Manager to own the Robotics vertical within our Physical AI team. In this role, you'll own both the development of the data and training environments (the teleoperated demonstrations, real-world collections, simulated tasks, and annotation products that labs use to train and evaluate robot policies) and the "data as a product" strategy that powers them. You'll understand where physical AI is headed, decide what robot tasks and embodiments are worth collecting, how to source and structure the underlying data, and how to turn deep domain knowledge into a defensible product. The ideal candidate has lived inside robotics or physical AI research, and is able to pair that domain understanding with a sense for where current robot policies succeed and fail in real-world workflows. You'll translate that expertise into datasets, environments, and evaluation frameworks that teach robots to do real physical work, and you'll be the domain expert Scale's most important customers and their leading researchers turn to. A strong entrepreneurial & go-to-market mindset will be necessary. What You'll Do Own the Robotics AI roadmap & data strategy: Set product direction for the robotics training stack and the data strategy behind it — what data we collect, on which hardware and embodiments, and what we source internally vs. through our marketplace. Establish a vision for where physical AI is heading, driving execution across engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams. Build partnerships with research teams at frontier labs: Work directly with researchers at leading physical AI labs to understand where their robot p

You define how the codebase is built. On-site | Vancouver Office – 675 W Hastings St. The Problem We're Solving EviSmart is building the unified dashboard platform where every product surface comes together — the interface lab owners use to manage cases, access analytics, and launch AI-powered tools. It doesn’t have a frontend foundation yet. What exists is a clear product direction, a backend that’s ready to connect, and an engineering team that needs someone to draw the lines before anyone starts building. Why EviSmart 300 people. Two hubs: Vancouver HQ and Manila operations. 145% year-over-year SaaS growth — the market is responding. 28 countries. One platform. The dental industry's Autopilot. An in-house AI model research and development team building proprietary intelligence. Why This Role, Right Now Most senior frontend engineers join products with foundations already in place — someone else made the hard calls, and your job is to build within them. This is the opposite. There is no existing dashboard frontend, no technical debt to inherit, and no architectural decisions that constrain you yet. The person who joins now makes the foundational choices that the entire frontend team builds on for the next several years. The first product milestone is aggressive, the customer base is real and global, and the backend is ready. What doesn’t exist yet is the engineer who sets the direction. A Note from the Team “We’re not looking for someone who needs a clear spec before they can move. We need someone who can audit what exists, make a recommendation, and execute on it. If you’ve been the person who sets the technical direction that your team builds on, and you want to do that at a scale that actually matters, this is that conversation.” — Paolo Kalaw, CEO, EviSmart What You’ll Own Own the React JS / TypeScript frontend architecture for a new dashboard platform — the unified interface where all products connect.
