About the role Every enterprise is racing to build AI-powered apps and agents but speed without the right runtime creates chaos, not transformation. Sigma is the AI Runtime Environment that makes those apps governable, scalable, and real, and the Sr. PMM, Sigma Apps will play a critical role in developing and executing the go-to-market narrative and strategy for Sigma Apps. This role requires someone who understands both sides of the enterprise software conversation: the IT leaders and data engineers who evaluate and govern application infrastructure, and the line-of-business owners who care about outcomes, speed, and usability. You'll translate Sigma's application development capabilities into stories that resonate with both and create the materials the sales team needs to tell those stories in the field. What you'll do Develop and maintain positioning and messaging for Sigma Apps including no-code app building, AI-assisted workflow automation, embedded analytics, and apps built with external coding agents working closely with the Director of Product Marketing, Apps and the Product team. Support new feature launches and capability expansions, coordinating across product, design, marketing, and sales to bring new capabilities to market clearly and effectively. Work closely with Product and Engineering to deeply understand and influence the Sigma Apps roadmap bringing market, customer, and competitive insights that help shape and prioritize it. Partner with sales reps and the Enablement team to understand what's working in the field and use those insights to sharpen messaging, update battlecards, and improve enablement materials. Partner with the Enablement team to build and maintain sales enablement content solution briefs, pitch decks, use case guides, competitive comparisons, and discovery question frameworks that help the field confidently sell Sigma Apps Build and maintain competitive analysis and battlecards for the no-code/low-code, embedded anal

Sigma is transforming how businesses allow customers to build apps, agents and dashboards on top of governed enterprise data. Hence, we are growing the design team and looking for designers who are excited to solve challenging problems, deliver impactful capabilities throughout our stack to build world-class technology. You will be part of a talented team of designers with a shared mission to make data easily accessible for all users. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer / Design Engineer who sits at the intersection of interaction design and AI engineering: someone who uses AI to ship faster, builds the skills and evals that make AI more effective, and invents new interaction paradigms for how people work alongside intelligent systems. This isn't a traditional design role. Yes you'll be using Figma, but also writing code with AI, training it, evaluating it, and questioning every assumption about what a "UI" can be when the interface itself reasons. Please note this is a 4 day on-site role in our San Francisco office. What You'll Do Start with AI, stay with AI. Use LLMs to clarify scope, draft specs, surface edge cases, and align your team before committing to a direction, use AI coding tools to build and iterate on the solution itself, and merge code to prod when fits. Prototype in code. Build working interfaces with Cursor and Claude Code, guiding structure, behavior, interaction, motion and UX quality while AI handles implementation. Partner directly with engineering to decide what moves into the product and what stays as a validated spike. Bring it to production. Fix small interaction and refinement issues directly on prod code. Design new AI interaction paradigms for conversational interfaces. Invent and validate novel patterns for how users converse with, direct, and trust AI systems - especially in data contexts where precision and confidence matter. Write evals, skills, and help on tools. Build the scaffolding that makes AI reliabl

About the Team The Storage organization builds and operates the online stateful systems and abstractions that DoorDash Engineering depends on: reliable, efficient, secure, and easy to use. Within Storage, the Distributed Caching team owns every caching offering at DoorDash end to end, including ElastiCache (Redis/Valkey), Boulder (our KVRocks-based key-value store for high-QPS feature serving), Entity Cache (read Bill Shen’s engineering blog post, “ High-Performance Proxy Cache for DoorDash Services ”), and the Distributed Lock Service, plus the smart clients (asgard-redis, valkey-go) that sit in front of them. These systems back critical product surfaces across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo: the team runs roughly 400 ElastiCache clusters serving hundreds of millions of GET requests per second in aggregate, and Boulder, our offline-to-online feature store, serves billions of feature lookups per second at peak. About the Role The team owns provisioning of clusters and the smart clients that sit in front of them, baking in sensible defaults so that other engineering teams get a turnkey caching solution instead of having to run their own. You'll help drive Boulder's evolution to scale further, improve cost efficiency, enhance performance, and support real-time updates; re-platform the Distributed Lock Service onto a strongly consistent backend; and build the self-serve tooling and recommendation engine that let customers describe a workload (QPS, TTL, payload size, latency profile) and get the right backend without talking to a human. You'll go deep on cache invalidation, replication, sharding, compaction, and failover, while shipping the guardrails, automation, and observability that keep this scale operable by a small team. You must be located in San Francisco, Seattle, or the New York Metro Area for this hybrid position. You will report to the Engineering Manager on the Distributed Caching team within the Storage organization. You’re excited about this opportunity b
