Work Flexibility: Onsite In this position, you will partner with cross-functional teams to monitor product costs, support planning processes, manage inventory controls, and provide financial insights that help drive informed business decisions. What You Will Do Manage the annual standard cost roll-up process and maintain accurate product cost structures within financial systems. Monitor monthly and year-to-date manufacturing costs; coordinate updates to bills of materials and routing structures with operations teams. Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities for the assigned business unit. Coordinate annual physical inventory counts and cycle count programs, including variance analysis and follow-up actions. Track cost reduction initiatives and report progress against established budget and productivity targets. Prepare, analyze, and submit financial and operational metrics through corporate reporting systems. Execute month-end close activities, including cost accounting entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset depreciation. Prepare plant performance reports, capital expenditure requests, return-on-investment analyses, system-related accounting support, and ad hoc financial reporting for leadership. In this role, you’ll coordinate and manage technical payroll accounting activities across Scale’s global footprint. You’ll manage the preparation, maintenance, processing, analysis and auditing of manual and automated payroll data, information, records and reports – ensuring accuracy and completeness of payroll transactions. You’ll also lead, train and provide guidance to internal and external partners, and serve as a clear point of contact for resolving payroll related inquiries. English fluency is required. You will: Support End-to-End Payroll Processing: Execute multi-frequency domestic and international payroll cycles, accurately managing all compensation inputs, deductions, and employee lifecycle changes. Compliance & Audits: Perform rigorous pre- and post-payroll audits, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and ensure strict adherence to all multi-jurisdictional tax, labor, and company regulations. Accounting & Reporting: Support payroll accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, management reporting, and year-end tax activities (e.g., W-2s). Employee Support & Vendor Management: Operate the payroll help desk as the primary resource for employee inquiries and coordinate daily with external vendors, PEO/EOR partners, and tax agencies. Systems & Process Optimization: Leverage HRIS and modern technologies (including AI tools) to maintain confidential records, adapt to legislative changes, and continuously improve workflow efficiency and accuracy. Work Flexibility: Onsite What you will do This role leads cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment, leveraging strong SAP expertise to manage product costing, inventory control, manufacturing variances, and financial compliance, in close partnership with operations. Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on material characteristics, MRO, and production processes for internal customers, ensuring accurate and reliable operational knowledge. Own product cost analysis and SAP ERP reporting, ensuring accurate cost roll‑ups, inventory balances, manufacturing and price variances, and providing key insights to operations and finance leadership to support annual roll‑up activities and cost accuracy. Design, maintain, and analyze ERP and operational data, ensuring data integrity, effective reporting, and seamless integration of information to support finance analysts and business objectives. Design and improve operational procedures and processes to meet audit standards, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Manage one direct report, providing guidance, oversight, and performance support. Participate in annual audits and special projects, working closely with internal teams and external auditors or consultants to provide required information and ensure accurate historical recordkeeping. What you need Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Public Accounting or equivalent). Minimum 4&#43; years of experience in Finance and Cost Accounting roles.
