About the Team Our New Verticals team launched in 2020 with the purpose of delighting our customers and empowering local communities outside of just restaurants. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. New Verticals is the growth engine of DoorDash’s business and we are continuing to build and scale new businesses everyday! Grocery is one of our highest priority, most complex verticals that is key to acquiring consumers to new verticals outside of just restaurants. About the Role We are hiring two Associate Manager roles on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to lead high growth segments of the grocery business - mid market and local grocery. In this role you will serve as the general manager of your respective segment – the central owner of the end to end merchant and customer experience to make them successful. Your role will include a mix of managing the day to day success of the segment, while also driving long-range strategic bets that are critical to the portfolio’s success. You will partner closely with product, engineering, finance, analytics and sales / business development to bring these initiatives to life! From the strategy behind how orders get fulfilled to the product features that make it happen, you’ll sit at the intersection of Strategy, Operations, and Product, working directly with Engineering and Product teams to shape what gets built and own the outcomes end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, prioritize features, and ship solutions that improve the end-to-end customer experience across DoorDash’s Convenience network. About the Role This is a high-visibility Associate seat on one of the most important consumer products at DoorDash. You will own how DashPass deploys capital — what we invest in, how we budget, and whether spend actually grows the membership without giving up efficiency. You will sit with DashPass GMs as the finance partner on those dollars, join the planning committee that forecasts paid subscribers and subscription fees and builds the long-range plan, and stand up zero-to-one models for net-new bets.
