About the Team Our US Marketplace team is responsible for growing the DoorDash business in the US, helping customers to discover & order what’s best in their city, merchants to grow their sales, and dashers to find flexible work. About the Role The US Marketplace team is looking for a motivated and hands-on Associate Manager to join the Strategy & Operations Growth and Markets team. You will own a portfolio of projects aimed at growing the core Marketplace business, working closely with DoorDash’s product, marketing, finance, and analytics teams.You’ll have the opportunity to help grow strategic markets, identify new growth bets, incubate 0-1 experiments, and execute on a roadmap to drive growth. About the Team Our New Verticals team launched in 2020 with the purpose of delighting our customers and empowering local communities outside of just restaurants. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. New Verticals is the growth engine of DoorDash’s business and we are continuing to build and scale new businesses everyday! Grocery is one of our highest priority, most complex verticals that is key to acquiring consumers to new verticals outside of just restaurants. About the Role We are hiring an Associate on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to drive growth in our enterprise grocery business. In this role, you will drive key initiatives supporting some of our largest merchants on the platform. This role will be highly dynamic, and a given day may include deep analysis of a customer journey, ideating and setting up a test for a new growth bet that you wish to productize, building a point of view on the financial viability of a new initiative or deal. ABOUT THE TEAM The Sales Compliance team makes sure DoorDash and Deliveroo charge every merchant correctly and sell in a way that is compliant and built to scale. We own sales controls, revenue assurance, and order-to-cash (OTC) controls across the Merchant organization, from the signed contract, to how it is configured in our systems, to the charge a merchant sees. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead Sales Compliance for our new and emerging businesses, and to run it like a strategy and operations business, not a checklist. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and team behind DoorDash’s sales controls: key SOX revenue controls, contract-to-system-to-charge reconciliations, and the systems, data, and processes that make compliant selling the default. The Base Operations team is responsible for maximizing vehicle uptime through maintenance and repair operations, both existing and future. The Manager of Vehicle Technicians will work closely with the Fleet Operations Leadership team to drive new operational initiatives, track and measure efficiencies, establish KPIs, and ensure we stay hyperfocused on our roadmap progression for our Zoox L3 and VH6 vehicle fleets.
