Construction Manager, Power Generation - Memphis

ABOUT THE ROLE: You will oversee crews building the infrastructure for SpaceXSI's on-site power generation plant in the Memphis region — including gas turbine packages and auxiliaries, fuel gas piping, process and BOP piping, pumps, heat exchangers, compressed/instrument air, water and cooling systems, plant HVAC, and fire protection. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Southaven, MS with relocation required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and coordinate mechanical installations including gas turbine and generator auxiliaries, fuel gas piping, process and BOP piping, pumps, heat exchangers, compressed/instrument air, water and cooling systems, plant HVAC, and fire protection. Manage and schedule on-site crews to deliver project milestones on time and to SpaceXSI's quality and reliability standards. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Power Generation Engineering team is seeking a talented Fluids Engineer where you will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge, experience, and creativity to rapidly design, build, and activate fluid systems supporting power plants and related generation infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, build, and activate fluid systems for power generation plants, including fuel gas, ammonia, water, compressed/instrument air, and HVAC Utilize knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid flow, and control theory to design and analyze power plant process and utility fluid systems Model piping assemblies using CAD software and perform piping stress analysis Read and develop detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams of complex fluids systems Select components, such as valves, pumps, piping, tanks, heat exchangers, and filters, and provide detailed specifications for their purchase Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, controls, etc) to establish a complete system design Manage the fabrication and installation of fluid systems and other construction projects occurring at th
