Construction Superintendent, Structural (Night Shift) - Memphis

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars. SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a member of the SpaceXSI construction team in Memphis, you will lead the field execution and delivery of some of the world’s most technically advanced electrical infrastructure — from high-voltage substations through medium-voltage distribution to low-voltage data center power systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). We execute complex electrical construction projects from groundbreaking through energization and turnover. You will operate with autonomy, own schedule and budget, manage multiple projects at once, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work with construction engineers, electrical contractors, equipment vendors, utilities, and internal customers to deliver reliable, high-capacity electrical systems that support AI-scale compute. This is a construction management role focused on field leadership, contractor performance, and on-time delivery. The position is based in Memphis, TN. This role is focused on delivering the electrical backbone — from the high-voltage substation down to the low-voltage racks and BESS — that will power SpaceXSI's Memphis operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own full lifecycle delivery of electrical con

ABOUT THE ROLE: Join the High Power Engineering team supporting SpaceXSI to design, build, operate, and maintain electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses. As a Civil Engineer on the Battery Storage team, you will work with a small on-site team to scale high-capacity power systems on a schedule set by compute demand. The position is based in Memphis, TN, with potential travel to other sites. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own civil and site design for the battery storage plant: pads, foundations, grading, drainage, access roads, fire lanes, and equipment yards coordinated with electrical collection and NFPA 855 spacing. Support the fire and life-safety case with civil provisions: water supply, hydrant layout, deflagration venting clearances, and emergency vehicle access for AHJ review. Coordinate seismic and severe-weather (tornado/high-wind) structural design basis for storage blocks, transformers, and equipment supports with structural engineering. Produce issued-for-construction civil packages: site plans, sections, details, specifications, and bid support. Resolve field RFIs, submittals, and installation quality issues during construction of the storage yard. Coordinate undergro
