ABOUT THE ROLE : The fire protection technician keeps facility fire and life safety systems working: fire suppression, sprinklers, fire alarm and detection, extinguishers, and related life safety equipment. This is a field role. You inspect, test, troubleshoot, and support the installation and commissioning of systems that protect people and high-density computing. GPU racks and industrial processes can and do catch fire. You will work with facilities, contractors, and the local fire marshal. You are not the design engineer of record. You are the technician who ensures the as-built system is installed, tested, and kept in service. RESPONSIBILITIES : Inspect, test, and maintain fire and life safety systems (sprinklers, suppression, alarms, detection, extinguishers) and close out deficiencies Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of fire protection systems: walkdowns, device checkout, punch lists, functional tests, and turnover Verify that installed systems stay in working order and that impairments are logged, mitigated, and restored Work with facilities teams, fire contractors, and the authority having jurisdiction (fire marshal) on inspections, permits, impair

ABOUT THE ROLE: Join the High Power Engineering team supporting SpaceXSI to design, build, operate, and maintain electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses. As a Civil Engineer on the Battery Storage team, you will work with a small on-site team to scale high-capacity power systems on a schedule set by compute demand. The position is based in Memphis, TN, with potential travel to other sites. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own civil and site design for the battery storage plant: pads, foundations, grading, drainage, access roads, fire lanes, and equipment yards coordinated with electrical collection and NFPA 855 spacing. Support the fire and life-safety case with civil provisions: water supply, hydrant layout, deflagration venting clearances, and emergency vehicle access for AHJ review. Coordinate seismic and severe-weather (tornado/high-wind) structural design basis for storage blocks, transformers, and equipment supports with structural engineering.
