Banding: Band 2 & 3 Location: Reading – also covering Wokingham, Bracknell, Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough, High Wycombe, Oxford, Cowley and Kidlington Rate: £18.00 – £25.78 per hour Pulse Nursing is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) with phlebotomy experience to join our team in Reading and the surrounding areas, including Wokingham, Bracknell, Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough, High Wycombe, Oxford, Cowley and Kidlington, with shifts available Monday to Sunday (8:00am – 7:30pm). We offer competitive hourly pay rates of: Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour Saturday: £20.96 per hour Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.78 per hour Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will: Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system. Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored. Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate. To be successful in this role, you should have: A Certificate in Phlebotomy. A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood. Experience taking patient observations.
