Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist – Old Age Psychiatry (NHS) – Merseyside Salary: £99,532 – £131,964 per annum (NHS Consultant Pay Scale) Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time Available Job Overview: A well-established NHS Older Adult Mental Health Service is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide specialist care for patients over 65 years old with mental health disorders such as dementia, late-onset schizophrenia, depression, and complex psychiatric conditions. The role involves both inpatient and community-based care, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative MDT setting alongside geriatricians, psychologists, and social care professionals.
