About the Role We're looking for an experienced events leader to step into a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover as Sr Manager, Strategic Events EMEA. In this role, you'll drive and execute Snowflake's PAN-EMEA events strategy, lead a team of six (including four direct reports), and you’ll own planning for the next fiscal year. You'll keep EMEA closely aligned with the Global Strategic Events function and work in close partnership with EMEA Field Marketing, Product Marketing (PMM), Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Communications, and other regional marketing teams. Together you’ll deliver cohesive, high-impact event experiences that fuel pipeline and deepen customer engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll be accountable for the performance and development of your team, the planning and reporting rigour behind our Snowflake-owned event series, and the strategic oversight of our highest-profile third-party sponsorships across the region. About the Job: We're looking for a Senior EMEA Marketing Manager to lead marketing in the region, in close collaboration with Sales, with field activities and events as the core part of the role. This is a senior, individual-contributor position for someone who knows how great regional B2B marketing programs are built — from tactics through hands-on execution — and who's looking to shape and build the approach rather than run a standard playbook. You'll join a growing international marketing team in an essential role for the team and business, reporting to the International Marketing Director. You'll take full ownership of the EMEA field calendar and act as the region's on the ground presence, with the scope to also contribute to broader regional marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll get to innovate and design impactful, memorable experiences that drive real results. Responsibilities: Own the EMEA field calendar end-to-end — from tactics and planning through execution and post-event follow-through, across owned events, third-party conferences, sponsorships, executive roundtables, and partner co-marketing events etc. Lead regional sponsorship approach and vendor management — negotiate sponsorship packages and deliverables, coordinate on assets and work with agencies, partners and vendors. Design differentiated, memorable experiences — go beyond the standard execution model to create formats that genuinely engage audiences and build awareness around the brand. Partner closely with EMEA Sales — work hand-in-hand with Sales and SDR teams on field activities, on-site engagement, and structured post-event follow-up.
