The observability market is shifting from surfacing data to delivering answers. MongoDB is looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead that shift for database users, owning the strategy that takes customers from raw telemetry to AI-powered diagnostics and autonomous remediation, so developers can focus on building great applications instead of managing infrastructure. You will define how MongoDB turns raw telemetry into actionable intelligence, set the vision for AI-powered root cause analysis and proactive recommendations, and shape what best-in-class database observability looks like at global scale. The ideal candidate has experience shipping products that deal with data at scale, can engage deeply with senior engineering on technical architecture, and knows how to balance long-term platform investment against near-term customer value. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model. What you'll do Define the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for MongoDB observability, balancing the needs of developers, ops teams, enterprise customers, and internal engineering teams Help shape the next generation of AI-powered and agentic observability, including intelligent anomaly detection, automated root cause analysis, and proactive recommendations that help customers resolve issues before they escalate Own product strategy for experiences that span database health, performance diagnostics, alerting, log analysis, and data visualization, creating a coherent observability journey rather than a collection of disconnected tools Identify high-impact opportunities across the observability stack, from how customers monitor and understand their deployments to how MongoDB can reduce the operational burden of managing a database fleet at scale Lead customer discovery with developers, DBAs, and enterprise teams; turn qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product decisions that reduce time spent managing the database and incr

Atlas is at the heart of our AI-ready data foundation. Atlas is a best-in-class, fully managed, multi-cloud database service that simplifies the complexities of deploying and managing highly available database deployments across multiple regions and cloud providers. Atlas offers vertically and horizontally scalability, built-in automation for optimizing workloads and resources, advanced observability and security features, and unmatched data distribution with over 125 regions available globally across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. This team is at the forefront of innovation, having brought to life some of the most exciting features we've launched in the past, such as multi-cloud databases, predictive autoscaling, and next-generation hardware support on AWS. Furthermore, this team will continue to play a critical role as the platform expands to where developers need it most. The Role MongoDB's Atlas Product Management team is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own key cross-domain initiatives within Atlas Clusters. In this role, you will be a key member of the Atlas Clusters product management team, helping make the core Atlas platform a market differentiator that enables MongoDB to win in enterprise and at scale. You will lead product strategy and execution for capabilities and programs that support enterprise platform requirements and broader large-scale customer needs. You will work across Engineering, Design, Support, Security, and Go-to-Market teams to translate complex technical and customer requirements into clear product investments, roadmaps, and outcomes. This role is suited for a candidate who can orchestrate multiple interlinked product areas, own cross-team product and architectural trade-offs, and align senior stakeholders around multi-year bets. You will be expected to identify opportunities and dependencies that cut across team boundaries, bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces, and establish reusable ways of working that help MongoDB deliver relia

This role will help developers and data practitioners learn about, explore, model, query, and work with data through intuitive, powerful experiences. The initial scope includes MongoDB Compass and Data Explorer , with the opportunity to shape connected experiences across the broader developer tools ecosystem, including MongoDB Shell , IDE integrations, data modeling, and AI powered developer experiences. You will operate as a company-wide product leader: setting direction, simplifying complex technical problems, and aligning engineering, design, research, developer advocacy, marketing, sales, support, and adjacent product teams around measurable customer outcomes. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model. What you’ll do Define the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for developer tools, balancing the needs of individual developers, data experts, application teams, and enterprise customers Own product strategy for experiences that span desktop, browser, Atlas, and self-managed deployments, creating a coherent journey rather than a collection of disconnected tools Identify high-impact opportunities in data exploration, querying, performance troubleshooting, schema and data modeling, governance, and observability Help shape the next generation of AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including natural-language interactions, intelligent guidance, and transparent actions that keep developers in control Lead customer discovery with developers, architects, data professionals, and enterprise teams; turn qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product decisions Partner deeply with engineering and design to frame problems, define requirements, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality products from discovery through launch and iteration Build alignment across teams that contribute to the developer expe

Senior Product Manager, Cluster Scalability Location: Dublin About the Role MongoDB is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own scalability for the Atlas data platform. Atlas is how the world’s most demanding applications run on MongoDB — from real-time gaming and financial transactions to AI workloads with unpredictable traffic patterns. When those applications grow, slow down, spike, or contract, scalability is the layer that decides whether the customer trusts us to keep running their business. This role owns the end-to-end product experience for how customers scale up, scale down, and horizontally scale their Atlas deployments. That includes vertical scaling (instance tier changes), autoscaling, horizontal scaling (sharding and shard key strategy), and the operational workflows around all of them. You will set the strategy, drive execution with engineering, and be accountable for measurable year-over-year improvements in how reliably and predictably customers scale. We care less about whether you’ve worked on databases before and more about whether you’re the kind of PM who can ramp fast on a hard technical domain, form a clear opinion about what needs to happen, and defend that opinion to senior engineers, field partners, and enterprise CTOs, especially when they disagree with you. Database and scaling concepts are teachable. Judgment, conviction, and crispness are not. Responsibilities Set a clear, opinionated vision and strategy for Atlas cluster scalability and translate it into concrete, prioritized bets each release. Own the end-to-end roadmap for vertical scaling, autoscaling, and horizontal scaling, including the operational and observability surfaces customers rely on during scaling events. Make hard prioritization calls, including saying no to things with real customer or leadership support, and own those decisions and their consequences. Build deep technical understandin
