Responsibilities: Build and implement vital programs that fulfill state, federal, and local requirements. Lead and collaborate with operational teams to achieve compliance and sustainability goals. Coordinate solid and hazardous waste management activities including vendor management, shipping support, site management, facility disposition evaluations, inspections record keeping activities. Assist the chemical approval process by reviewing proposed chemicals for environmental compliance requirements, documenting approvals and conditions, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal stakeholders before chemicals are introduced on site. Support Construction General Permit (CGP) stormwater compliance, including SWPPP implementation, inspections, contractor coordination, corrective-action tracking, and preparation of required monitoring records and regulatory documentation. Provide oversight of Construction Project and General Contractors to ensure organizations’ requirements are effectively implemented Prepare compliance reports, quantify environmental impacts, and participate in regulatory inspections. Leverage artificial intelligence and digital tools to analyze environmental data, identify compliance trends and risks, automate routine workflows, and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of EHS programs. Support compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and conformance with ISO14001

Responsibilities and Tasks: Ensure Micron’s environmental programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and conform to the management system and regulatory requirements. Assist in achieving site's sustainability goals by participating in committees and providing feedback to plan, complete, and monitor projects. Be effective at presenting (both written and verbal) environmental matters to Micron Leadership and local, state, and federal agencies. Meet requirements to conduct accurate environmental calculations and submit vital reports to regulatory agencies. Conduct applicability determinations on environmental regulations. Make objective decisions supported by verifiable facts. Conduct internal auditor training and assist in EHS management system internal audits. Coordinate, manage, and conduct environmental walkthroughs, inspections, and audits to ensure operations comply with procedures and regulatory requirements. Perform incident and event follow-up and investigation, determine root cause(s), implement containment action, establish corrective action & preventative action, and verify effectiveness. Collect, evaluate, and communicate environmental-related metrics and performance measurements.
