Financial Analyst, Revenue and Commercial

The FP&A team at Zoox drives financial analysis of key strategic investments, maintains short and long term financial models, and develops reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. As a Financial Analyst supporting Production Manufacturing, you will partner with several Manufacturing groups, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to drive financial planning and MEC activities. You will own critical manufacturing KPIs, including inventory, BOM, and open PO planning, manage monthly S&OP cycles and close activities related to product costing. This role requires a solid understanding of cost accounting systems and processes as well as financial planning and reporting in a manufacturing environment. You will leverage SAP, Anaplan, and other reporting systems to analyze large financial datasets and provide actionable insights that influence operational strategy and manufacturing efficiency. The Finance Operations team at Zoox sits at the center of the Finance organization. The team consolidates planning inputs from across FP&A into a single companywide financial forecast, and reports actuals and forecast performance upward to Zoox leadership and our parent company, Amazon. Finance Operations co-owns MEC activities with Zoox Accounting, driving core accrual, allocation, and reconciliation workstreams, as well as key managerial financial reporting packages. Lastly, Finance Operations governs purchase order hygiene, enforcing accounting policy at the point of commitment and tracking timely goods receipts. As a Finance Operations Analyst, your primary responsibilities will focus on MEC and purchase order hygiene, and flex into projects supporting other areas of scope for the team. You will partner with budget owners across the organization, the FP&A analysts, and Accounting on these workstreams and directly drive improvement of financial processes and accuracy of financial results. This role requires a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and procure-to-pay processes, along with the judgment to know when to resolve an issue directly and when to escalate it. Project sizes, complexity and budgets will vary from $50K to $30M+. You will own project delivery beginning with pre-lease site due diligence and project planning all the way through project occupancy and close out.
