Job description

San Francisco / Los Altos, in-person 5 days a week, regular travel to customer sites · Reports to the CTO · $130K to $170K base + equity About Uare.ai Uare.ai is the platform for Human-First AI: each person owns an Individual AI trained on their own voice, story, and life. Enterprise and government teams use it to capture what their best people know and make it available on demand. Every deployment is different. Someone has to sit with the customer and make it work. Founded by Rob LoCascio, founder and former CEO of LivePerson. Backed by $10.3M from Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures. About the role You will be that person. You sit with our customers, build their Individual AIs, connect them to their systems, and make sure they work. What you learn in the field shapes what we build next. What you'll do Launch customers. Scope, configure, and ship each deployment, from kickoff to first use. Build their AIs. Turn a customer's documents, recordings, and know-how into working Individual AIs. Connect their systems. Wire Uare.ai into their tools, data sources, and sign-in. Run the sessions. Onboard each team, lead guided tests, and collect structured feedback. Fix it fast. Debug issues on site and get the right fixes to engineering. Bring it home. Turn repeat customer work into product features and playbooks. What we're looking for U.S. citizenship is required. This role supports U.S. government contracts that require it. 3+ years as a software, solutions, or forward deployed engineer working directly with customers. Strong in Python or TypeScript, APIs, and data pipelines. Hands-on with LLMs, RAG, or AI features in production. Calm in front of customers. You explain technical work in plain language. Willing to travel to customer sites, including government facilities. Bonus Government or regulated deployments (IL5, FedRAMP, or HIPAA), ideally on Azure. An active clearance is a plus. Customer-facing engineering at an AI or early-stage company. Apply with One deployment you led: the customer, what broke, and how you fixed it. Optional. How we hire We hire for a growth mindset: outcomes over output, experiments by default, and moving the metric that matters. Location: in-person, 5 days a week, across our San Francisco and Los Altos offices. Uare.ai is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome people of every background and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
