About the Opportunity As an Associate General Counsel for Employment, you will be responsible for global employment matters reporting directly to the Global Head of Employment Legal, who is located in the US. You will work closely with other members of the Legal team and business leaders throughout the company, but especially with our global HR, finance, and compliance departments. The ideal candidate will be based out of our San Jose, California or New York office. The right candidate will have an understanding of and enthusiastic belief in the cryptocurrency/digital asset space, 7+ years of experience working on employment matters for a top law firm as well as in-house at a fast-paced, brand-name business. We are looking for a teammate with strong academic credentials and excellent analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise and experience in advising business leaders to produce quick analyses of issues related to employment law and HR, including recruiting, hiring, immigration, internal investigations, employee relations and employment litigation and arbitration.
