Your Impact on our Mission Healthcare is complicated: people are anxious about their health, insurance coverage is obscure, and there’s uncertainty in finding the right type of care. Meanwhile, providers face thin margins, growing competition, and operational workflows that drown their staff in administrative burden. As a Principal UX Researcher, you'll immerse yourself deeply in understanding these problems, and own the research strategy for one of Zocdoc's two core user groups: the patients searching for care, or the practices delivering it. You'll report to the Director of Research and partner with Product, Design, Brand, Marketing, and Data Science leadership to proactively shape product strategy. You'll set the bar for high quality strategic quantitative and qualitative research that cuts across product teams and shapes the product roadmap. About the Role Decagon is hiring a Strategic Account Director, Healthcare to open and own one of the largest, most strategic verticals in our company. You will be the first dedicated healthcare seller on the team, reporting to the VP of Sales, and you will define how Decagon wins inside the US Payer, Provider, and Life Sciences markets. This is a builder role. You will be signing foundational relationships with the largest healthcare buyers in the country: the top US health plans, the largest integrated delivery networks and academic medical centers, and leading Life Sciences companies. You will not be inheriting a playbook — you will be writing it. Your Impact to the Mission Zocdoc's most important asset is our people. As a Principal Technical Program Manager for Practice Solutions, you will own and drive the most complex, cross-functional technical programs across the business unit, the initiatives that span multiple engineering teams and product domains and that no single team can deliver alone. Practice Solutions powers how healthcare practices run their day to day across every patient access channel: phone, web, marketplace, and partner syndication. That includes Zo, our AI phone assistant, along with our provider directory and booking platform, intake and pre-appointment workflows, calendar and scheduling experiences, and the services that keep availability accurate across channels. You'll operate at the intersection of Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, and go-to-market leadership to deliver scalable, highly available, multi-tenant SaaS capabilities.
