POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for developing profitable relationships with both new and returning customers within our builder, designer, remodeling and retail communities. Will also work showroom hours including Saturdays. A comp day will be provided for Saturday hours. Essential Functions Provide expert consultations to take projects through design, material selection and installation. Build proposals and quotes based on qualifying the needs of the customer and fulfilling those needs. Execute the customer’s order and provide support as needed to assist through successful completion. Interact with industry professionals to cultivate relationships for referrals and develop a self-sustaining network of clients. Stay abreast of industry and local trends and leverage vendor product and sales training when offered. Manage collection of payments for sales. Summary/Objective The Fireplace Installer provides professional in-home and pre-settlement installation of fireplaces, performing all duties with the highest level of customer service and professionalism. Inspect appliance components to ensure working properly. Competent in filling out daily reports and reconciling parts orders and service calls. Complete billing and invoicing paperwork. Lift and move heavy appliances in a safe manner. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years’ experience installing high-end brand products and appliances. Proficiency with various hand tools. 1 to 3 years’ refrigeration experience. Clean driving record required.
