Java Full Stack Developer

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join an enterprise technology development team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing Java-based applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework , along with practical front-end development expertise. The successful candidate will work within an Agile development environment, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications using modern software engineering practices. This is a hands-on development position requiring expertise across both back-end and front-end application layers, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Downtown) Experience Required: 5+ Years Work Arrangement: Onsite Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and integrate back-end services and application functionality. Develop and maintain front-end application components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective technical solutions. Follow established software engineering standards and best practices. Contribute to building secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications. Communicate technical concepts and development progress effectively with team members and stakeholders. Required Qualifications Java Development Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or later. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and application architecture. Experience developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise applications. 2. Spring Boot / Spring Framework Professional experience developing applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework. Understanding of dependency injection, application configuration, and service-layer architecture. Experience developing and integrating server-side application functionality. 3. Full Stack Development Hands-on experience developing both front-end and back-end application components. Experience building browser-based application interfaces and integrating them with server-side services. Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern front-end development practices. Ability to demonstrate hands-on contributions across the full application stack. 4. Communication & Collaboration Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to developers, business partners, and stakeholders. Experience working in Agile development environments. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a development team. 5. Additional Technical Skills Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or comparable version control tools. Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Ideal Candidate Profile Strong hands-on Java Full Stack development background.
