About the Role We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on Manager of Technical Program Management to lead the TPM team supporting Nuro’s AI Platform organization. AI Platform builds the offboard and onboard system that accelerate autonomy development and enable reliable deployment. Its work spans the data flywheel for developing AI systems—from data collection and data mining through training, simulation, and evaluation—as well as onboard firmware, middleware and services, cloud services, and fleet operations tooling. You will develop a team of TPMs and drive complex programs across engineering, product, operations, and external partners. About the Role: We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead the systems, data, and process work behind how we bill, recognize revenue, close the books, and prove our controls work. You won't be writing the code or drawing the architecture; you'll be deciding what gets built, in what order, and why it matters. This is a role for someone who wants to understand a business well enough to change how it runs: learning the objectives, processes, and system flows end to end, then shaping them into strategic technical programs with real owners, deliberate sequencing, and decisions that hold up under audit. As a Staff Technical Program Manager for Powertrain and Thermal, you will serve as the Program Lead for our Powertrain & Thermal team. You will provide the overarching technical direction and leadership required to guide the vehicle program from concept through production across Powertrain and Thermal domains. In this position, you will bridge the gap between high-level program milestones and deep technical execution. You are responsible for balancing performance attributes, cost, quality, and manufacturability while coordinating engineering execution across our internal team and external partners. As a Technical Program Manager in EE Systems, you will own the electrical and electrical-distribution program scope on vehicle programs that Zoox executes jointly with external engineering partners. You will own the RASIC, the change flow, the milestone plan, and the weekly truth about where EE stands. The harness technical lead owns the engineering content; you own the program.
