In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and international teams to deliver world-class localized experiences to our global users. You will manage cross-functional workflows, and ensure quality, timeliness, and cultural relevance in every market we serve. You will: Own the i18n and l10n process of features for your group(s) from 0 to 1 by partnering with stakeholders across the organization (Product, Engineering, Design, International and our Community). Be the voice of international users across the company Partner with product management, engineering, and design teams to integrate localization requirements early in the development cycle. Develop and execute localization strategies aligned with product roadmaps and overall business goals. Our Mapping team is responsible for building the algorithms and tools necessary to keep Zoox vehicles well calibrated, always aware of their location in the world, and aware of their environment. You’ll master new technologies while working on code, algorithms, and research to impact key systems to move Zoox forward. Responsibilities Lead the Sensor Change Playbook workflow, defining the validation process for our next-generation, low-cost vehicle platforms. Partner with PCP V&V to define the Autonomy Technical Specification (ATS) by identifying "bounding" (worst-case) scenarios, particularly those related to winter driving (e.g., heavy snow, ice, sensor occlusion). Work with PCP model owners to architect low-cost stacks that reduce reliance on expensive sensors and accommodate reduced compute (e.g., migrating from 8 GPUs to 1 Thor). Drive the Clearance MoC (Method of Compliance) process for hardware changes, balancing cost, compute constraints, performance and safety.
