Retail Production Assistant SoFi is seeking a proactive, high-energy Production Assistant to serve as the backbone for our top-producing Retail Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs). In this role, you aren’t just a support player; you are the engine that keeps the loan origination process moving. You’ll act as the primary bridge between borrowers, realtors, and our internal operations team, ensuring every file is structured for success from day one. You’ll review and assess Conventional and FHA loan applications using independent credit judgment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and speed within a high-throughput production environment. The ideal candidate brings recent mortgage underwriting and demonstrated expertise analyzing complex credit, income, asset, and property documentation. RLOs are responsible for delivering an exceptional, end-to-end customer experience by guiding members through the mortgage origination process and providing a modern, transparent alternative to the traditional mortgage experience.
