About the Role: The New York Times is looking for an operations expert to join our Newsroom Operations team as an operations manager. You will work with staff members in our Styles, Well, and Real Estate teams, supporting these journalists with a variety of daily responsibilities and short- and long-term projects. You will also occasionally assist other departments within the Culture and Lifestyle umbrella as well, including Culture, The Book Review, Food and Cooking, and others. We are looking for a detail-oriented person, someone motivated to maximize efficiency, help others, and solve problems for the good of the team. The Operations Manager's work is critical in supporting the journalism produced at The New York Times and all tasks, whether daily, weekly, or one-off, are greatly valued. This is a hybrid position based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office each week per your departmental guidance. Responsibilities: Schedule and update attendance for regular meetings and special events Support editors during breaking news and timely news events, ensuring that our journalists have what they need to work quickly and efficiently Help plan and execute culture-building activities for the departments Manage and approve staff expenses in Workday, communicating and adhering to policy limits, correcting categorizations and cost centers Manage work and vacation schedules, maintain accurate time banks in Workday and work with

The Manager, AI Strategy & Enablement will help execute Marketing's AI strategy by turning approved priorities into tools and workflows that teams can use. You will identify opportunities where AI can improve work, recommend whether AI, process changes, or conventional software are the better approach, and build and configure solutions directly. Quality, business impact, adoption, and time saved will determine how we measure success, not the number of tools used or launched. About the Role, Mission or Department Overview We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR Generalist to partner directly with our Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Licensing, Partnerships, Wirecutter, and Events departments and HRBP team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partner you will be a primary contact for daily operational HR issues, processes, and coordinating projects for our client groups. About the Role, Mission or Department Overview The New York Times is looking for a System Analyst to support the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure for our publishing and production operations. You will support essential in-house applications and workflows. You will play an important part in ensuring these systems integrate with our broader production environment. You will collaborate with the larger IT department. You will need to support our manufacturing processes. You will work with internal colleagues, vendors, and contracted third-party developers. You will report to the Manager of Production Systems at the College Point plant in Queens, NY. This department is part of the corporate IT department of the New York Times.
