Our mission on the Developer Platform Team is to help game studios succeed by creating meaningful experiences for players. As a B2B2C team, we serve two key audiences. For game studios, we build smart integrations and intuitive tools that make it easy for developers and community managers to connect with players and bring the best of Discord into their games. For players, we enhance on-platform experiences that deepen their connection to the games they love—and make it easier to build lasting friendships through play. You’ll work on everything from the tools studios use to integrate with Discord to the player-facing experiences those integrations enable. For example, you might design in-game ways to invite Discord friends to play, onboarding flows for studios, or new ways to bring game moments and achievements onto Discord to spark social connection. Your work will span surfaces like the developer portal, dashboards, self-serve tools, in-game overlays, and the Discord client itself—where players discover games, make new friends, and play together. As a product designer, you’ll work across the full product development cycle—from early exploration through to launch and iteration. You’ll bring a thoughtful mix of user empathy, systems thinking, and visual craft to solve meaningful problems for developers and players alike. We're looking for a Product Designer to join Growth at Discord and help shape how people find Discord, get set up, and stay connected over time. Growth sits at the front door of our consumer org. We're responsible for how Discord shows up in the world — how new people discover us, how they land and get started, and how existing users stay close to the conversations and communities they care about. It's a broad, fast-moving surface area, and design plays a central role in making each of those moments feel unmistakably like Discord. This role spans the full breadth of what Growth owns: Notifications — helping users stay connected to what they care about, even when they're away. We're making notifications more intelligent, trusted, and effective: reaching people at the right moments, coordinating delivery thoughtfully, and giving users real control over their experience. Off-platform — how Discord shows up beyond the app itself, across embeds, links, invites, web pages, and text messages. These are often someone's first impression of Discord, and there's a lot of room to make them better. The Design Systems team is a cross-functional team that ensures design quality across all facets of UI, content, and graphics. Mana, our design system, is well loved and widely used by the product designers, engineers, and creatives who design and build Discord every day. This role is about stewardship: keeping Mana healthy, accurate, and useful as the product grows. You'll own the day-to-day work of fixing bugs, shipping updates, and evolving existing components, and you'll help decide what the system needs next. You're a pattern and tooling expert who lives and breathes component building. Figma component building is second nature to you, you understand code well enough to design components that match how they're built, and you've used AI in a systems context, so you have a clear view of how skills and agents will shape the future of design systems. The Discord Creative Studio Team is seeking a versatile graphic designer and illustrator with strong conceptual skills and a knack for working across styles. This role sits alongside our Social team, creating fast-turnaround content across a wide range of creative expressions, including illustration, graphic design, and visual storytelling. You'll be embedded with the team, helping bring content to life across platforms in ways that are fun, timely, and resonate with our large and highly engaged community. This is a highly collaborative role. You'll partner closely with members of our Social team and other creatives, working within quick-turnaround windows to keep pace with what's happening in the community in real time.
