The Role Mach Energetics is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to support the planning, execution, and analysis of next-generation propulsion and energetic systems for advanced defense applications. In this role, you will work directly on propulsion hardware, test infrastructure, and data-driven test campaigns that enable rapid development, validation, and deployment of mission-critical systems. You will serve as the bridge between design and flight, ensuring propulsion systems perform reliably under extreme operating conditions. Key Responsibilities Test Design & Setup: Design and maintain propulsion test stands and ground support systems used to secure engines during static fire and development testing. Execution: Lead and support test campaigns ranging from component-level testing (valves, regulators, feed systems) to full-scale integrated rocket engine hot-fire operations. Data Analysis: Use high-speed sensors and instrumentation to collect and analyze pressure, temperature, and thrust data to validate performance against specifications. Safety & Operations: Execute and oversee hazardous operations involving high-pressure systems and cryogenic propellants such as liquid oxygen (LOX), ensuring strict safety compliance and operational disciplin

The Role Mach Energetics is seeking a Structural Engineer focused on design and stress analysis for next-generation aerospace and defense systems. In this role, you will support the conceptual and preliminary structural development of high-performance vehicles and energetic platforms by driving structural layouts, FEM modeling, load path development, and structural trade studies. Key Responsibilities Develop structural layouts and aeromechanical architectures for advanced aerospace and defense platforms. Perform structural and mechanical analysis including load path development, stress analysis, vibration assessments, and structural sizing. Build and analyze FEM models including mesh generation, boundary conditions, load cases, and design trade studies. Support integration of aerodynamic, propulsion, and structural systems to ensure performance and structural integrity. Evaluate metallic and composite structures under static, dynamic, and thermal loading environments. Perform trade studies focused on stiffness, strength, mass optimization, manufacturability, and system integration. What You'll Do: Fabricate aircraft and test lab electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and looms per engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, splicing, routing, and lacing using approved tools and techniques Install connectors, backshells, contacts, heat shrink, and protective sleeving to aerospace standards Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing of harness assemblies Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (FAA, IPC/WHMA, MIL-STD, etc.) Troubleshoot and repair wiring harness discrepancies or defects Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation Follow ESD, FOD, and safety procedures at all times Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area Integrate components and subsystems into flight test airframes and lab test fixtures, ensuring proper fit and function.
