Within REW, the Strategic Occupancy Planning team connects business needs, workplace strategy, and space data to help shape where and how our teams work. We partner closely with business leaders, Finance, People, Workplace Operations, and Design & Construction to anticipate growth, optimize space utilization, and deliver a thoughtful, scalable workplace experience. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Occupancy Planning & Workplace Strategy Manager to lead strategic space planning for our Go-to-Market (GTM) and General & Administrative (G&A) organizations. In this role, you’ll translate evolving business needs into actionable occupancy strategies, capacity scenarios, and workplace recommendations. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, balancing growth projections, operational requirements, and employee experience to inform decisions about how our teams use space. You’ll own planning across a complex, evolving portfolio while leveraging CAFM/IWMS systems and data analytics to drive accurate, scalable decision-making. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and strong cross-functional partnership to turn planning recommendations into operational outcomes. This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week, with approximately 10–20% travel. About the Role As Global Transportation Program Sr. Manager, you will own the strategy, expansion, and day-to-day performance of OpenAI’s employee transportation programs. You will make it easier for employees to get to and between our workplaces through reliable, accessible, and cost-effective commuting options. We’re looking for a builder who has launched and scaled employee transportation programs across countries in a fast-growing organization. You will translate our global workplace expansion plans into a transportation roadmap, establishing the systems, vendor partnerships, and operating practices needed to support new markets and growing offices. About the Role We’re seeking a senior commercial infrastructure lawyer to lead legal work across our rapidly growing data center development and colocation portfolio. You will advise on complex, high-value transactions involving new data center sites, power, construction, colocation, and related infrastructure arrangements. This role is designed for a lawyer who understands how data centers are developed and operated—not a general real estate practitioner. You will work closely with infrastructure, finance, procurement, and operations teams, while coordinating outside counsel where appropriate, to help projects move quickly and responsibly. San Francisco is preferred, and occasional travel may be required. In this role, you will: Lead commercial legal strategy and risk management for data center development and colocation transactions.
