Rework Technician

Technicians are assigned to a location within the field that modifies and repairs mechanical and electrical processes of the ESS, do the commission work and follows documentation pertaining to their assigned station in their department. JOB DESCRIPTION Receive batteries, cube unload, and document them by serial numbers Test cubes, batteries, and components using BYD software and hardware Disassemble cubes, make repairs and modifications based on engineering or manager’s direction Document all issues and repairs as well as changes made Clean and organize inside and outside work areas that include warehouse Work with team members to create a safe, efficient work environment while maintaining high quality work product and repairs Help document and repair cubes at port site Supporting warehouse by assisting with organizing and inventory Demonstrates attention to detail Demonstrates required skills Gathers and analyzes information skillfully Communicates changes and progress Balances team and individual responsibilities Adapts to changes in the work environment Follows instruction, responds to management direction Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Upholds organizational values Proper use of PPE and observes safety and security procedures of BYD and adhere to customer safety and procedures Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You will build and test hardware from engineering drawings and procedures through inspection, troubleshooting, and rework, partnering closely with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and test engineers. These roles focus on hands-on work with precision electromechanical hardware, including stator prototypes, motor and actuator assemblies, and mechanical and electrical testing. TITLE: Quality Technician POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Technician will support manufacturing operations by ensuring in-process and finished medical devices meet established quality requirements, specifications, and regulatory standards.
