Job Description: The Scientist/Senior Scientist – QPPV Office, Local Safety Support & Regulatory Intelligence is a safety expert who provides safety oversight, in their allocated region, for the Consumer portfolio of products throughout the life cycle of the products, including new product development. The incumbent works closely with and partners with the RMSO to proactively collaborate with regional colleagues in R&D, Regulatory, and Quality. The incumbent works closely alongside LPV country team leads in their region. The incumbent is a key contributor to regional safety deliverables and evaluations. The incumbent will provide backup to the RMSO and can represent the RMSO at meetings and for safety deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Safety evaluations and clinical insights contributing to the completion of the regional safety deliverables for the company portfolio. Identification, communication and management of potential and known safety risks. Cross-functional collaboration within and outside KMS. Ability to influence and work effectively with business partners and colleagues. A vocal and visible champion of safety insights as a key input into product development and post-market safety surveillance strategy. Work with RMSO (Regional Medical Safety Officer) to partner and align with regional cross-functional business partners and generate relevant safety assessments and reviews for their allocated region, for the Consumer portfolio of products, throughout the life cycle of the products, including new product development. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll oversee the local finance team, take ownership of our Philippine financial operations, and work closely with our Canada Finance team and Manila leadership. What You'll Do Accounting & Reporting: Own month-end closing, financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger accuracy. Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely BIR, SEC, and other government filings, including statutory audits and payroll-related remittances. Cash Flow & Budgeting: Manage cash flow, banking, payables, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Internal Controls: Establish and improve financial processes, approval controls, and compliance procedures. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Manila finance team, ensuring accountability and consistent performance. Global Collaboration: Coordinate with Canada Finance on intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and group accounting standards. What We're Looking For Licensed CPA in the Philippines (required). At least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including 3 years in a leadership role . Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, statutory compliance, and IFRS. Hands-on experience managing month-end closing and financial reporting. Experience with intercompany accounting and reporting to an international or foreign parent company. Strong Excel, analytical, and financial management skills. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Lead the Corporate System Project Specialist and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ERP system. Collaborate closely with international cross-functional teams across multiple entities and system developers to identify improvement opportunities for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system and other company-wide applications.
