About the role As an Engineering Manager on the Assessment Platform team, you will lead the technical vision and execution for the systems that power the assessments on HackerRank. This includes giving candidates the ability to work on a real world application running on dedicated VMs with an online ADE built by HackerRank. Doing this for concurrencies of up to 100K candidates is a very interesting technical challenge. You will also partner with product teams across HackerRank to embed these solutions into every product, drive the team's roadmap, and build a high-performing, growth-oriented team that delivers scalable, resilient systems. What you will do Own the vision and roadmap for assessment platform, working closely with Product to shape priorities. Architect systems that reliably handle 100k+ concurrent users. Own delivery commitments and run the team's day-to-day execution using agile practices. Ensure operational excellence: reliability, incident response, security and privacy.
