Position Summary As a Senior Program Manager you are responsible for successfully managing your assigned Programs/Initiatives to a defined scope, schedule and budget. Senior Program Managers collaborate directly with the Program Sponsor to define scope, develop project plans and create budgets. You will lead the coordination of day-to-day sponsor/stakeholder communications. Senior Program Managers typically manage programs with a capital budget of $1M - $50M. Sr. Program Managers report to the Director of Construction Program Management and manages a team of Program Managers and Program Coordinators consisting of about 3-8 employees and/or contractors. About the Job: We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead LaunchDarkly’s Cloud Engineering team, the team responsible for the foundational infrastructure our products and engineering teams depend on. Cloud Engineering owns LaunchDarkly’s AWS accounts and networking, multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure, Terraform and GitOps workflows, CockroachDB operations, disaster-recovery capabilities, and FedRAMP infrastructure posture. The team is small, senior, and recently rebuilt. This is a frontline leadership role for a manager who treats operational health as a top priority, leads calmly through incidents, and creates leverage through software, automation, and reliable paved paths. In your first year, you’ll lead a marquee infrastructure insourcing program from planning through completion.
