Senior Software Engineer - AI & Agentic Architecture

At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Platform org - the group that powers product development across Vanta by building the shared foundations that every engineering team builds on top of. This hire will join one of two closely-aligned teams within the org, each working on foundational challenges with company-wide impact. Application Primitives is responsible for the shared, customer-facing platform components that product teams implement across the product: examples include comments, notifications platform, event log infrastructure, and agentic audit trails. This team sits at the intersection of platform and product - not pure infrastructure, not pure product - building the reusable building blocks that let other teams ship faster and more consistently. Libraries & Foundations is a brand-new team that owns Vanta's internal engineering libraries and golden-path patterns. Sitting between core platform and product platform in the stack, this team builds the TypeScript-first abstractions and shared foundations that all Vanta engineers build on top of - including event-driven architecture libraries, code quality tooling, and test frameworks. You'll be evaluated for both teams based on your background and interests, and the decision on team placement will reflect where your skills and passions are the strongest fit. Visit our Vanta Engineering Blog to learn more about what our team is working on! What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform at Vanta: Design and build high-quality, scalable systems and shared libraries that multiple engineering teams depend on - whether that's shared

This role is central to rethinking and rebuilding our auto repossession and remarketing platform , a system that directly influences how vehicles are recovered, processed, and remarketed across Canada’s automotive ecosystem. This is an AI-first engineering role —not in name, but in practice. You’ll continuously evaluate where AI (including LLMs and agentic tools) can meaningfully improve engineering velocity, system quality, and operational efficiency , while applying strong judgment about where it should not be used. You’ll help shape architecture, influence technical direction, and own what you build—from design to production. The impact is real, the scale is national, and the responsibility is genuine. What You’ll Do: Build & Evolve Critical Systems Rethink and reshape core workflows based on a deep understanding of auto repossession and remarketing processes . Design and implement scalable, resilient systems using modern architectural principles: clear service boundaries, modularity, and observability. Incorporate LLMs and AI-driv

Position Overview As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on Diligent's Platform AI team, based out of our technical center of excellence in Vancouver, you will drive the architecture and technical direction of the services that bring AI research and models into production across Diligent's global product suite. You will partner with AI researchers, product managers, and Staff Engineers as peers — leading through influence across the Platform AI organization rather than through reporting authority, on secure, scalable AWS Serverless solutions that translate ML and LLM research into commercial-quality, production systems. Key Responsibilities Drive technical direction and architecture for ML/LLM systems across multiple AI platform teams, partnering with Staff Engineers rather than managing ICs in isolation. Design secure, scalable, fault-tolerant AI/ML solutions using AWS Serverless technology — event-driven, highly observable, with infrastructure as code. Evaluate and prototype new AI technologies (LLM frameworks, model providers, agentic tooling) to guide build-vs-buy decisions across the organization. Serve as the go-to contact for architecture problems and questions across the Platform AI org, and regularly present and guide architecture discussions department-wide. Mentor Staff Software Engineers and Applied Scientists through constructive code review and design partnership. Collaborate with Applied Scientists and Product teams to productize AI capabilities, translating multi-quarter AI strategy into execution roadmaps and representing engineering's perspective to senior leadership. Design, build, and scale search and retrieval systems — including OpenSearch and semantic/vector search — that power discovery, retrieval-augmented generation, and other AI-driven product features. Lead through ambiguity, helping teams navigate undefined problems to successful delivery. Required Experience/Skills 10-15+ years of professional experience developing and owning high-scale, s

Overview: Guidepoint is investing in applied AI across its research platform. We're building conversational AI systems that interact with our global expert network at scale — combining real-time voice, LLM-driven orchestration, and retrieval over large proprietary datasets. You'll be an early engineer on a new initiative: taking working prototypes to production and shaping the architecture as the product scope grows. This is a hands-on role with broad ownership, close to product and leadership. This role is hybrid in our Toronto Office What You'll Do: Real-time conversational AI: voice- and chat-based agents with low-latency requirements, built on modern telephony and real-time media infrastructure. LLM orchestration: agentic systems that pursue goals over multi-turn conversations, with hard behavioral guarantees enforced in code — not just prompts. Multi-channel session management: stateful user interactions that move seamlessly across channels. Retrieval and grounding: connecting LLM systems to large internal knowledge assets, with structured data flowing back. Evaluation infrastructure: measuring conversational quality against human baselines and gating rollouts on metrics, not vibes. Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment (Kubernetes/Azure), and operations, including latency-sensitive real-time workloads. Design and tune LLM pipelines: context engineering, structured outputs, model selection, cost/latency tradeoffs across vendors. Build the eval loop and treat quality as a number: define metrics, run experiments, gate releases on them. Integrate third-party AI and voice vendors behind clean abstractions so providers stay swappable. Partner with product and compliance stakeholders to encode domain rules into the system. Set engineering patterns for a growing team: code review, observability, incident habits. What You Have: 6+ years of software engineering, with 2+ years building LLM-powered products in production (not notebooks): orchestratio

Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. About Okta for AI Agents Okta secures access for 20,000 organizations and billions of users. Okta for AI Agents extends that work to the agentic shift. Deploying an AI agent is not like deploying traditional software. You are putting professional work output into production, and it needs deep integration, continuous tuning, and change management. Every agent needs an identity, a scope, an audit trail, and a way to be shut down when it goes wrong. Most enterprises have not built this yet. We are. We hire builders who see the cracks in enterprise agent identity that everyone else has learned to live with. The Role You embed inside four to five of Okta’s most strategic enterprise customers as their dedicated technical partner for agent identity. You sit alongside their identity, platform, and security engineering teams, write production code in their environment, and own the technical outcome from prototype through production. You are a builder-consultant. You go past architecture diagrams to code, debug, and ship bespoke agent identity solutions inside the customer’s environment. You ship secure agents faster for the customer, and you feed real field insight back to Okta product engineering. Responsibilities Become the customer’s trusted technical voice on agent security. Sit in their standups, design reviews, and incident response. Earn a seat on their architecture review board and security council for agent risk decisions. Architect and deploy with the cust
