This role is for a Senior Backend Software Engineer in Colombia who will be a founding member of a brand new Sales Intelligence team within GoDaddy. We're building from the ground up to transform how GoDaddy does sales. Our mission: add intelligence to lead generation and assignment, and build the right tools so sales teams can focus on what matters most—bringing in new customers. This team will build greenfield solutions, optimize existing Salesforce workflows, and leverage AI to surface the right context at the right time. We believe in rolling out AI-powered features to real users, not just developing with AI tools internally. Design and build intelligent lead scoring, routing, and assignment systems that directly impact sales outcomes, while implementing AI/ML-powered features using LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval systems to provide contextual intelligence to sales reps. Develop Salesforce-based solutions (Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, integrations) and build backend services and APIs in Java and TypeScript that power sales tools and AI-driven capabilities. Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Data Science teams to identify and deliver high-impact business opportunities. Own end-to-end delivery of complex engineering initiatives, including backend services, API development, AI orchestration workflows, and production operations. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Business Analytics, and Engineering teams to influence technical direction and deliver impactful customer experiences. Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing while helping elevate engineering standards and operational excellence.
