Equipment Engineer, Photo EUV Technology As a Photo EUV Equipment Engineer in Micron, you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes, while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers. EUV Equipment Engineer also need to monitor tool performance, schedule and work with vendor ASML perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues. They are also required to assist with equipment installs, engineering tests, create and modify equipment procedures, increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and thoroughly document all maintenance. In this role, required to contribute directly to feature validation, test method innovation, requirements analysis, and execution of validation workflows across multiple technologies and platforms. Required to collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, systems, and product teams to ensure SSD features meet industry standards, customer requirements, and high reliability expectations. This position required engineers motivated by hands-on development, deep debug, and building strong technical foundations in SSD architecture and validation methodology. Develop automated test cases for functional, performance, power, interoperability, stress, and negative-testing scenarios. Translate feature requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards into robust, reusable test content. Develop, debug, and maintain code that enables the parallel testing of advanced memory devices. Support R&D, interacting closely with global teams, as well as taking part in the designing and debugging of test hardware. Develop efficient and innovative solutions of production test flows through test algo optimization. Design test plans for new tests and test algorithms for DRAM, which cover test software and hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, trending, process flow, and test times. Develop test programs for products using primarily C++ coding and Python on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in the given area followed by test program release to manufacturing areas. Drive innovation and improvement through optimizing test programs by applying more efficient testing methods to reduce product test times and manufacturing costs. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the device/part as it applies to device/part testing. Automate test processes by writing software to improve work efficiency. Develop tools to help provide better analysis and insight of the terabytes of probe data. Develop new Design for Test (DFT), Design For Manufacturability (DFM), and Design For Reliability (DFR) capabilities. Independently debug and identify root causes of test issues and provide solutions across internal/external groups.
