The Role The Platform Services team is at the core of accelerating Addepar’s platform scalability, elasticity, and global expansion. We play a pivotal role in driving innovation and standards for building distributed services and on-demand environments to meet the rapid scale of Addepar’s growth. Working at the critical intersection of application, infrastructure, and operations teams, we promote developer velocity and robust process automation. Working with a healthy mix of new technologies and existing core applications, the team thrives on solving complex challenges to deliver high-impact solutions. The Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Warsaw, Poland) with expertise in Java and frontend technologies to join our Identity and Authentication team. In this full-stack role, you will build and maintain the systems and interfaces that authenticate users and enable self-service product configuration. You will leverage Addepar’s enterprise identity platform to create responsive, frictionless user journeys. These range from the “front door” of our products (such as login and MFA) to the administrative tools our customers use to configure experiences for their internal teams and end-clients. Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering partners, you will ensure our identity and authentication capabilities meet our clients' complex regional, compliance, and privacy needs. ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Software Engineer acts as the technical lead for an agile team, focusing on the design and development of scalable microservices for Peloton's core features across all platforms (Bike, Tread, Strength, and Digital). The Content AI Team is responsible for training and hosting various models in the domains of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). This role is highly collaborative, requiring close partnership with Product, Design, and QA throughout the development lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring microservices that specifically power features like search, voice, and captions, which are crucial for platform expansion and international growth. In addition to technical delivery, excellent communication and engineering skills are essential for providing guidance to junior team members and effectively coordinating with other stakeholders, such as Technical Program Managers (TPM). *This position is in Warsaw and we do go into the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. You will be on the team that creates and expands Peloton’s e-commerce presence on the web, retail and other sales channels. You will be a hands-on technical lead on the team that will be working to build highly scalable and disjoint backend platforms and services for our users, both internal and external.
