Role overview
Job description
At NVIDIA, we're shaping the future of accelerated computing infrastructure — and we believe a CPU platform is only as strong as the ecosystem around it. This role sits at the heart of that ecosystem, bringing clarity to what must work, what is qualified, and what customers can count on when deploying NVIDIA data center CPUs alongside GPUs, networking, storage, DPUs, and third-party components. We're looking for someone who wants to lead a tangible product outcome: customers who can configure, deploy, and operate a fully supported platform with confidence!
The work is hands-on and technically grounded, spanning NVIDIA devices, third-party components, firmware, software stacks, and industry standards such as Arm ServerReady. We offer clear ownership, strong executive visibility, and the opportunity to build something that lasts — not just handle a checklist. If you're ready to make a real impact at the intersection of hardware, software, and ecosystem strategy, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing:
- Defining the required platform ecosystem by product, customer use case, and launch phase. This includes specifying what is supported, qualified, planned, or out of scope. It also involves maintaining the qualification roadmap and approved-vendor list accordingly.
- Heading enablement and qualification activities for NVIDIA GPUs on PCIe and a wide range of third-party devices: networking, storage, DPUs, accelerators, management controllers, and security components.
- Drive cross-component dependencies involving BIOS/UEFI, BMC, firmware, drivers, operating systems, telemetry, and manageability — collaborating with component owners to address interoperability, performance, and lifecycle gaps.
- Leading readiness against platform and ecosystem standards, including Arm ServerReady, with defined test coverage, entry/exit criteria, certification evidence, and reproducible qualification matrices.
- Running ecosystem-readiness reviews passionate about gaps, exceptions, and decisions — not status collection — and producing concise launch-readiness and executive views of coverage and residual risk.
- Coordinating execution across CPU platform, firmware, validation, GPU, networking, DPU, storage, OEM/ODM, component-vendor, and customer teams: owners, achievements, dependencies, and blocking issue paths for every committed ecosystem item.
What we need to see:
- 6+ years in technical product management, platform engineering, systems engineering, validation, product management, or ecosystem enablement.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience delivering server, silicon, embedded, or other complex hardware/software platforms to customers or production.
- Experience with PCIe devices and server-platform dependencies including BIOS/UEFI, BMC, firmware, drivers, operating systems, and manageability.
- Experience running component qualification, compatibility matrices, approved-vendor lists, certification programs, or release-readiness processes.
- Proven track record to drive closure across many engineering and partner organizations without direct authority.
- Technical presentation skills and disciplined management of configurations, evidence, issues, and risk.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience qualifying GPUs, accelerators, NICs, storage, DPUs, or other PCIe devices on server platforms.
- Familiarity with Arm ServerReady, server firmware standards, Linux enablement, or platform certification programs.
- Direct experience working with OEMs, ODMs, component vendors, or strategic data-center customers.
- Evidence of building a qualification or ecosystem-readiness system that measurably reduced deployment risk or accelerated customer adoption.
- Experience working with data center CPUs, accelerated-computing platforms, or deploying production servers.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
