The Role Mach Industries is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer, Energetics to lead the development and industrialization of manufacturing systems for solid rocket motors (SRMs), pyrotechnics, and energetic products. This role will have end-to-end technical ownership of energetic manufacturing capability, from early manufacturing concepts and process architecture through facility buildout, equipment integration, commissioning, qualification, and production launch. You will define how energetic products are manufactured at scale: translating product and process requirements into manufacturing cells, production lines, hazardous-process facilities, equipment specifications, controls architectures, material flows, and commissioning plans. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring coordination across product engineering, manufacturing, automation, facilities, EHS, quality, operations, external A/E firms, equipment OEMs, and systems integrators. The Role The Principal Certification & Airworthiness Engineer serves as the independent technical authority responsible for ensuring the safety, regulatory compliance, and airworthiness of the company’s flight systems and munition payload integrations. This role owns the certification strategy, safety case, and release-to-flight authority, ensuring designs meet applicable military and civil airworthiness standards. This position will also advise on munitions safety and weapon system cybersecurity evaluation methods to ensure both test range accessibility and operational use are approved by the appropriate entities. You will act as a liaison between Mach Industries and the Department of War (DoW) for certification and developmental/risk reduction tests initiatives. The Role The 3D Print / Additive Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of 3D printing systems. This position requires a blend of technical know-how, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality end products. Candidates must be willing to work swing/night shift. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate 3D printers, ensuring correct calibration and settings for optimal print quality. Convert CAD files to STL format and prepare them for 3D printing, including slicing and support structure generation. Inspect printed components for defects and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to printer settings. This role is responsible for the systems around the vehicle that tell us what actually happened during a test, including high-speed video, drone footage, external sensors, range instrumentation, and precise time synchronization between those sources and vehicle telemetry. This is a hands-on field engineering role for someone who can design, deploy, troubleshoot, and validate multi-source capture systems in dynamic range environments. You will support the full test lifecycle, including planning, readiness reviews, dry runs, day-of-test execution, and post-test data handoff.
