This is a senior individual contributor role, with no people management responsibilities, reporting to our Head of Ads Policy. This hire will be primarily responsible for driving the research and development of large-scale policies that impact Reddit's global advertising

7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation, with significant experience in tech, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or a related policy function Proven track record of taking complete, reliable ownership of complex policy projects, demonstrating a strong ability to personally research, draft, implement, and maintain policies autonomously in fast-paced environments Deep subject matter expertise in advertising or content policy on an international scale, with a proven track record of working with global teams and advising stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy/regulatory matters into simple business terms Exceptional ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous problems into structured decision documents that clearly lay out risks, trade-offs, and proposed solutions. Nice to Have: Direct experience working on advertising policies within a major tech platform Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enable automated and tailored assistance for partners and clients, and help scale processes with limited resour
