The Role Mach Industries is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to support planning, coordination, and execution of domestic and international field operations, flight test activities, demonstrations, and deployments. This role ensures personnel, equipment, test assets, transportation, documentation, facilities, and other operational resources are coordinated and ready to support successful field execution. The Field Operations Specialist works cross-functionally with engineering, flight operations, manufacturing, logistics, safety, program management, and external partners to identify requirements, resolve logistical constraints, and maintain operational readiness. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound operational judgment, and the ability to execute in dynamic field environments. This role is responsible for the systems around the vehicle that tell us what actually happened during a test, including high-speed video, drone footage, external sensors, range instrumentation, and precise time synchronization between those sources and vehicle telemetry. This is a hands-on field engineering role for someone who can design, deploy, troubleshoot, and validate multi-source capture systems in dynamic range environments.
