The Sales Executive / Sr. Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of insurance products such as Health Insurance. The ideal candidate will be adept at converting leads, understanding customer needs, and generating insights that help refine lead quality and sales strategies. Key Responsibilities : ● Generate and convert sales leads for Health insurance products. ● Maintain an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits, and policy terms across multiple insurers. ● Identify potential customers through cold calling, referrals, or digital leads through calls provided by the organisation. ● Engage with customers to understand their insurance requirements and recommend the best-fit products. ● Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. ● Provide regular feedback on lead quality, conversion ratios, and customer sentiment to improve overall sales efficiency. ● Prepare and maintain sales reports, pipeline updates, and conversion data in CRM tools. ● Stay updated on industry trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes. Key Skills & Competencies ● Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. ● Customer-first mindset with an ability to build rapport quickly. ● Analytical thinking to generate insights from lead and sales data. ● Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment. ● Good command of spoken and written English and Hindi. ● Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM software. Qualification & Experience: ● Graduation (any stream) – MBA or relevant certification in insurance/sales is a plus. ● 6 months – 2 years of experience in insurance sales (preferably Health). ● IRDA certification preferred.

Expectation: - Working closely with business, growth, design & cross-functional teams to understand product use cases, customer journeys, business applicability and impact of each use case. - Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed product requirement documents, manage future roadmaps and deliverables - Own end-to-end product lifecycle for lending journeys – onboarding, credit decisioning, disbursement, repayment, and closure. - Define and optimize funnels to drive adoption, reduce drop-offs, and improve approval/disbursement rates. - Use data to identify bottlenecks, define hypotheses, run experiments (A/B), and track impact. - Be involved in what your team is building - Run edge cases, test products proactively and its features to provide feedback early in the cycle, make sure entire journeys are covered, and that product reporting exists to track KPIs for the product and its success (data-driven product management). - Use SQL or comparable query languages/excel etc to access, analyze, and validate data independently - Track key product and data metrics (OKRs and KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed for product optimization - Stay updated with RBI regulations, compliance norms, best industry practices and credit bureau practices.
