Independent RIAs are a fast growing segment in the wealth management industry, and they're the hardest customers in the industry to win: the advisor you're selling to builds their book, sits across from clients every day and can smell a scripted pitch in ten seconds. This role owns that motion. You'll be the primary commercial owner for independent core advisory firms, running deals from first conversation through signed agreements and assets on platform. What you will own The Core pipeline, end to end — prospecting, discovery, active engagement, contracting, close. Success means new firms signed and AUM transitioned onto Vise, consistently. You own the top-of-funnel. You'll get warm paths, conferences, firm-level data, and an AI-powered outbound engine — but the pipeline is yours to build, not inherit. The advisor relationship after signature — partnering with engagement and investments teams so committed assets actually transition, and signed firms grow. The feedback loop: what independent advisors need next goes from your conversations into our product roadmap, with a seat at that table. The playbook: how Vise sells to independent RIAs gets codified, and eventually staffed, by you. Player first, coach as we scale. What you bring on day one: Experience working with or selling to financial advisors, broker-dealers, or enterprise RIAs You’re an AI-forward thinker who embraces new tools and uses them to work smarter Knowledge of investment products and strategies commonly used by financial advisors A sales-forward, consultative mindset with the ability to identify upsell opportunities and close them in partnership with sales Strong communication and relationship-building skills—both with advisors and internal stakeholders Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep momentum across accounts Strong understanding of investment platforms, TAMPs, custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing), and the advisor tech stack is a plus
